[outdated] King of the Forest (Crit version)

Hi Guys,

i have a question. I'm playing King of the Forest Build. Its my first char. I am newbie.

Please help me. What am I doing wrong?

Bought a GG stated legacy bow and my dps didn't really move at all even removing the gmp is that normal? I gained maybe 2k more dps over opus.

I mean its 129 more physical dps than the opus but maybe the crit offsets it by that much?

You obviously dont have Opus and most likely not even +1 drillneck...

I don't get it ... Newb question: How can Opus even be comparable to Reach when the former's got like 100 less DPS in the tooltip?

Should I go Death Opus -> 4 arrow Council or 2 Arrow Council into 4 Arrow Council when it comes to upgrade path?

I'm merely starting to get the hang of this thing altogether.

Higher critchance + high crit multi makes up for that. Legacy reach (4 arrows) is still a bit better but without double legacy (pre phys nerf version) deaths opus can outperform the normal legacy reach especially on high level bosses (not trashclear)

How much accuracy do you guys get? Many of the gear lists don't have any on the gear, but when I don't have any my accuracy is like 80%, which is super low for a crit version.

What kinds of tooltip dmg should I be seeing? I'm a bit underwhelmed right now.

My crit was a bit low so switching to rat's nest helped.

Moving blood rage + low level ice golem into cdwt is nice.

Removing 4th frenzy charge as others have suggested and getting the two 'inc duration' nodes instead was great.

Adding PCoc to the frenzy attack also is great for getting ramped up.

Having a 5/link for trash and 6-link for bosses feels a bit lame. My prior build (assreacher) used ice shot + coh, then tornado shot for bosses + trash - any thoughts on diffs?

Hey, maybe you guys can help me. I've been cruising along, doing pretty well, except for my damage. I know I"m not level 93, but I'm only seeing a few upgrades in my gear, and can't for the life of me figure out how people are doing so much damage. For example, my clean hideout dps on LA is 5k, but I see people with 15-20k. Any help for a noob?
