[outdated] King of the Forest (Crit version)

I'd get a 5L Reach ASAP. My clearspeed went through the roof compared to a Death's Opus and they don't cost much now (I bought mine for 4.5ex and divined well with 3/4 divines).

Shoot, I swore I set my account to public. Should be good now if you want to take a peak at my gear. I know there some definite upgrades needed in there. I do have a 6L Reach and a 5L QotF.

As I suggested above, your rare need a huge upgrade, start by boot and belt. If you felt insufficient DMG then go for vul glove first. I think with 30 ex you can buy most what I mention.

Go for self crafting or buy available chaos jewellery(%chaos - flat chaos - life - resist and/or int) for reference you can look at OP's equip on essence (now standard). I also recommend corrupt those 20/20, if no luck then buy 21/20 addedd chaos for barrage.

I'm seeling the complete gear if someone is interested. I've killed the Shaper with it.

You need:
1. Boots with life and 30% speed.
2. Belt with more resists and more life.
3. Drillneck with additional arrow. Week ago when I got it, it was much more profitable to craft it than buy. It was 5ex to buy that time. Instead you can buy them for 7-8c and corrupt. Chance to get +1 arrow is 3%, so you need to do that 33 times on average. BUT you can sell failed corruptions back to people for 3-4c (except if corruption turned it to rare - then its vendor trash). So it costs 4-5c per try, 150c on average to get it. Note prices are from week ago, dont know current situation.
4. Snakebites with Vulnerability (more expensive) OR Temporal Chains (cheaper). Both are very good. With temp chains you will die less in regular mapping.
5. Dying Sun flask.
6. Devoto helm with some useful enchant (40% barrage damage). Wasting 15ex on 2 barrage projectiles enchant is not worth it I think.
7. Put barrage in 6 link. Remove GMP from LA (you are using reach, why at all you need GMP there). Put Pierce in LA.

Can anyone please views my char? Its public. Also, im not really using any gem on boots or helmet (except for decoy and árctico Armour)
The skills that i use are: LA for aoe. Barrage for single. Arctic, Grace and decoy totem for protection. Blood rage and frenzy to boost damage.
I feel Like i should use some curse (Like vunerability) but i only have Green and red sockets. I tried using cwdt but i dont feel it as a good idea. Any advices on gear and gems?

Im runnin this build atm but seem to be having a lot of trouble with Chimera, in terms of using Decoy Totem correctly. Somehow Chimera always gives the Decoy Totem 1-2 hits and then just attacks me instead even though the Totem is still up and running. Is there some slight subtlety that I'm missing? Am I too close to Chimera? Or is there some pattern wrt placement of the totem to prevent this from happening?

I know you said you run Zana mods for the XP, but are there any other mods you would recommend? That is the one thing I do not quite understand. Otherwise, AMAZING build!

Are there any priorities for improving the quality of the gems? I've saved some gemcutter prism and upgraded added chaos damage to q20. And now? Pierce, Increased Critical Damage or another gem? Or doesn't matter?

Loved the build, this will be the next exile i will make on breach league for sure.
But do you think a "Queen" of the forest would also work? Using this exact same tree but starting as a ranger and turning into a raider with avatar of the slaughter and avatar of the veil?
