btw. which nodes i have to respect to fit tornado shot perfectly in this build? i played today some ele reflect maps and its way more fun with tornado shot for me. any advice?

The build is so flexible that you can use Tornado Shot instead LA without the need to respec, it is already optimized.

For poeple who havent luck with Vuln on gloves (how me)
I have snakes with cast on crit so you can linked:
Frenzy + BlinkArrow + IceGolem(every time alive) + Proj. Weakness Curse(have 4 green slots)
or my setup
Frenzy + Blink + IceG + Blood Rage
and in boots i run Blasp+Vuln.
I run without Arctic Armor and dont think i need Faster Attack

Anyone who need Snakes with cast on crit i have 1 in stast

Elreon level 7 mod. Costs 13C per craft. It's a prefix, so you better have a prefix open.

This is an amazing build. I wonder - have you thought of a CI tree? I'm currently playing it as Raider on HC but I'm thinking pathinder CI could get significantly higher buffer to play with..

Is there something I'm missing here?

I have invested ~24 ex into my character. My DPS is very close to OP's (10,300 hideout barrage in a 6L, ~27K Fully Charged).

Yet, it seems like I hit like a wet noodle on shaper...

I get my 4 frenzy charges, spam barrage through an entire lazer, and his HP drops maybe ~2% whereas in the video his HP dropped practically by 25-30%...

The damage I'm doing with max frenzy charges to shaper is pretty much how much DPS was done in the video when the OP didn't have max frenzy charges...

Spoiler

the bulk of your damage comes with flasks up, and when wither totem has been casting for ~3-4 seconds straight; also the extra arrows on my gear (helm enchant, +1 drillneck, dying sun) add aton of damage on top. active wither totem is the most important though. spec into point blank for another ~30-50% damage boost upclose.

I think there's objective reasons for not going close to Minotaur or Phoenix - Mino has that huge slam attack (which he does basically every time he's not burrowing), and Phoenix alternates his casts between a large Discharge and a "Cyclone". The other two Guardians are straight up immune to Poison so there's no real benefit from Witchfire.

But yeah, you could add Atziri to the list of bosses Witchfire is good on. So Atziri, Shaper, Izaro.

Hmm and what do you think how melee chars can kill Minotaur or Phoenix? There is a point where you can safely go into melee range. I like it better to wait for that moment. Don't get me wrong. If there is no need for dodging but melee range would kill me I shot from range but the damage is significant better in melee range when no arrow misses and vulnerability is on the boss.

Also I forgot to mention I was specced into Point Blank.

For Hydra and Chimera you are definitely right. I only killed them once in Standard after I died and I switched from Reach to Opus to make use of another socket combination to scale phys dmg.

However I used Atziri's Promise anyways so the question was Witchfire or Silver Flask (which I used for better clearspeed). Nowadays I would switch to Sin's Rebirth since it's implemented to the game.
Melee builds tend to have a lot higher focus on mitigation than we do, so the slam probably isn't a threat to them if they are behind the boss (so on the edge of the slam). I don't know, though. And yeah I guess there are timeframes you can go close to Minotaur/Phoenix, I just don't like doing that; imho you'll get more damage output by not HAVING to move from his melee-relevant casts, and just using that time to spam some more Barrage.

The flask slot I swap is Atziri's vs Witchfire. The other 4 are locked for: Diamond Flask, Dying Sun, Life Flask, and Quicksilver. I don't think any of them are replaceable, except maybe Quicksilver for Silver.

Also, to the people struggling with portal adds on Shaper: you CAN'T treat those adds like they are an AoE trash pack. You can't LA them. They've got boss HP each, and you have to treat them as such - Barrage is the only way.

If you look at cmphx' videos, notice that the position he takes for that phase is very deliberate and on-point. His barrage hits ALL the spawns, ALL the time. This is what you need to try to pull off. You also can't afford losing Frenzy stacks, and you want to try and get thru this phase WITHOUT using flasks (or only once if you're full, and hope you get the charges back).

This is basically the reason I specced out of Point Blank. Also, you don't have to get it 100% perfectly - if you have 1-2 adds up, you can just single target them down. My add phases were a fucking mess every single time, but I got through by just improvising. You may also get lucky and not need Zana for the next cast, so don't lose hope if she 'dies'.

It IS hard though, so you're not doing anything wrong. It's just actually hard to do. The whole fight is about managing your damage and resources (flask charges) properly.

Here is Gear:

Barrage tooltip shows damage per arrow.

So, whilst your tooltip DPS is similar, you actually have like 40-50% LESS damage than OP due to not having +2 Barrage enchant, +1 Arrow Drillneck, Dying Sun, and a gloves enchant.

You can get away with +40% Barrage damage enchant and Temporal Chains on gloves (it stretches poison applications by 40% so it's a straight up huge damage increase), and another damage flask (this build has plenty of good ones to choose from). The Drillneck is necessary, though, and having all of those things together adds up... a lot.
