DreamFeather Spectral Throw - Clearing the game on a budget. Shaper/Uber Atziri Included.
Guys I dont get it. Why do we use added chaos if poison can proc from physical damage too?

@Veek91
Because scaling the poison damage involves scaling the chaos damage. Its easier this way to do added chaos compared to just scaling phys. This is double dipping. Any chaos increase in damage, increases our chaos damage from added chaos and the poison we create. Whereas if you scaled phys damage, your psn isnt scaled at the same time since psn is chaos damage. |

does delirium ring 40% poison dmg help this build?

Do you think going for % chaos damage on the jewels alongside of life, as well as including %chaos damage (upwards of 34%) on jewelry thanks to the essence of envy, is worth it?
Technically you could get about 100% of increased chaos damage if we dropped the Doedre's ring, and used haste/hatred/any other aura instead, considering that poison does not benefit from the Projectile Weakness. Dropping the ring could allow us to pick Daressos/Rat's Nest and get more damage/life/resists this way. Also, how good is the 40% increased spectral throw enchant? Does it make a significant difference? Last edited by Hungwellhamburger#3200 on Sep 29, 2016, 5:54:16 AM

AWESOME! Just finish my 1st Atziri run with this build at 77lvl. Deathless, fast, fun.

Do you really have to manually swap out slower projectiles every time you want any kind of single target?! Seems... not worth..?

" When you look at how fast you kill boss with the slow projectiles setup and how fast you kill it with the usual setup, the question cease to exist :) | |
What's the reason for taking Point Blank instead of using the gem in the 6L instead of Pierce? There's 48% added projectile damage on the Point Blank gem at 20/20, but only 29% for pierce. The actual pierce should be useless for ST, right?

It's a matter of different multipliers. More and Increased are treated separately. Point Blank grants a More multiplier, but you can get that from the keystone or the gem. The Increased multiplier from the gem isn't that great when compared to the 19% More multiplier from Pierce. This is because the passive tree is entirely Increased multipliers, so even a small More multiplier is significant.
Let's say you have 250% increased damage from the passive tree. This increased damage adds with the increased damage from the gems, but is multiplied with More damage from gems. Let's say you deal 100 base damage. From the passive tree alone you deal 350 damage. (100*3.5 = 350) With a 50% increased gem, you deal 400 damage. (100*(3.5 + 0.5) = 400) With a 20% More gem instead, you deal 420 damage. ((100*3.5)*1.2 = 420) |

Ok, thank you. They should really highlight more vs increased better. I didn't even notice that the gems had different projectile damages on them.
