" Yep very solid! Try to get a nice enchant on boots. Vaal EA and Empower gems. For flasks the Divine base is best but Eternal is also quite nice. Get a dispel curse flask (of Warding)! Since we have a lot of life I kinda prefer the panicked prefix. Try to use the wise oak flask! If you can try to use Hrimnor's Resolve if you have enough dex. EDIT: for the second quiver you can use something with similar stats, uncorrupted its fine. Try to get Two-Point Arrow Quiver or Spike-Point Arrow Quiver if possible. " Is this helmet better when I have enough dex? Problem would be that I have to get 40% Explosive Arrow Damage on it :D I found a "Wise Oak" flask but the problem is that fire resi isnt my highest resistance when I equip my secondary quiver. And my second quiver isnt that good because it has "10% Pierce". Guess I will look for another quiver with high fire res, 80 life... " If you have the enchant on the Devoto, just keep that. Devoto has movement and attack speed dex,... The other one have damage and life. Definitely don't use a quiver with pierce chance. Fix resists, it should be worth it. This flask is also great for ele weakness maps. " I was buying them at few chaos a pop. I bought like 20x of them and then vaaled all at once. Try this + adjust search if you need: http://poe.trade/search/osakatomaninor You can even buy a corrupted one. If possible avoid the pierce chance one and of course the fire damage one. Hello guys,
I started merc lately, and switched from GMP Magma Orb to EA I know my gear is not good (my resis are a joke), but as SSF it's pretty hard to get to it 2 things next steps for me : 1- get new gloves, so I don't have fire damage added, and can use Elemental Equilibrium 2- Cruel Ascend, so I can get Beacon of Ruin node And there is my issue, even I can go trhough merc pretty easy (mid Act II) I cannot make any damage to Izaro (so no chance to see Cruel Ascend soon) Anything I am missing, or just need to wait for higher level (I am 62 now) before going to Lab ? " 1. Yes do that asap. 2. It may take a while. Rush to a4m instead. Farm nice zones longer if you have to. See links below. Well the thing with ea is that you get most damage from levels of the gem. I think it's best if you push to Dried lake as fast as you can and then stay there and farm till lvl 75 at least. Try to get the gem to level 18. Get a 5 link! Don't try to craft it just farm like crazy till one drops for you. Remember every time you level up to check your town NPCs! You can later on try to corrupt the quiver. but I personally prefer to do that in bulk. Run Ambush, and try to get gemkutterzz box and craft it to have experience or high quality. Run Essence and try to craft good bases with that. I think EA may not be the best build for SSF but it can be done for sure. I think If I played SSF I would choose something extremely generic, that doesn't require any unique (Quillrain). This build also needs A LOT of life and life regen. Ps: The Sanctified life flask is a terrible base. Hallowed is better. And in the end you go with Divine ofc. or at least Eternal. " Wow god damn fast answer ;) thx OK I will push my lvling to 75 / Dried Lake Merc (and lot pf leagustones :) ) 5-link OK, but whatever it is (chest or bow) ? (just craft the colors I guess) Also, I already had some, but did not equip as stats were meeh. Looks it is better to go 5-link, better dps, than base stats ? Sure EA is not best fit for SSF, but wanted to get it a try - just did not know need to push to 75 before getting it efficient Anyway, I am having tons of fun shooting 2 arrows to pack, and look 15 trash blow away :D |
