Cospri's Malice - Embrace it

Shield charge coc + this sword and an unique shield with high attack speed (Great Old one most likely)

The pain is getting plenty of accuracy on tree (plus the Hinekora amulet, a must).

Assassin or trickster (for free shield charge) with Hatred and HoI, or Assassin's Mark on Blasphemy.

Sword gems:
(in this order)

a) Vortex, Frostbolt, Cold Snap
b) Vortex, Ice nova, Discharge

Support gem: Ice bite?!

If not opting for shield charge, you can swap it with flicker coc (and multistrike gem)

The goal: generating charges fast by rushing/flickering into a pack, and 'spending' them on hard hitting spells: vortex, coldsnap, discharge.

Flicker will let you use another weapon, while shield charge requires a shield, severely dropping the crit chance on gear, thus needing a diamond flask 500%.

What I want to know is if the Cospri's Malice proc mechanics respects the new internal coc proc rules, now many procs per ms?

And does it respect the gem order when proccing? As in taking into account the first spell as a good charge generator, then proccing the 2nd one (random spell), then finishing with a big bang (usually the hard hitter spell that consumes all charges into a giant nuke).

Time to unbury the cold snap :D

Thats a pretty absurd amount of spell damage if you dual wield them. I was thinking dual wield them with empower in a 6l chest, Ignore the melee aspect of them altogether.
HAIL SATAN!
Crit chance being local or global is a huge difference, would be nice to know which one it is so i can plan a build accordingly.

Gives me a pretty good idea on what to try to combine the two Cospri's Uniques even though I am crap at theorycrafting.

Hmm...

I'm thinking one possible route would be to use CoC to cast Blade Vortex and to socket Vortex into the sword(s). Use Blasphemy to double-curse enemies. Both Assassin's Mark and Vulnerability would raise the damage of both Vortex and BV. Both Vortex and BV (and/or poison induced by BV + Cospri's Will) benefit from increases to DoT, skill duration, AoE, AoE damage, and spell damage, meaning a lot of passive skills can improve the DPS of both skills.

The best subclasses would probably be Assassin for DoT and crit chance, Trickster for defenses, attack speed, and 0-mana Cyclone (would allow for 2x Blasphemy and Herald of Ice without making mana management too much of a pain), or Inquisitor for crit chance and cold penetration.

Sockets would be:

Cospri's Will:
Cyclone - CoC - Increased Crit Chance - Blade Vortex - Bladefall - AoE or Conc Effect

Cospri's Malice:
Vortex - Cold Penetration - Life Leech

If duel-wielding, Cospri's Malice 2:
Vortex - Cold Penetration - Hypothermia

Life leech could be removed if using Warlord's Mark, and Cold Penetration could be removed if using Inquisitor. They'd be replaced with Hypothermia and AoE respectively.

I really want to try this now...

Probably shouldn't argue with the item's creator, especially when they got confirmation that it is global.
"It's all clearer now

Since it is a conditional modifier and generally conditional modifiers are global in thus game, I'd say it's global.
I make dumb builds, therefore I am.
