I have no idea what you just said, only bits and pieces make any sense.

At any rate, my flame totem build wasn't altered very much. It's fine. All things get balanced, but this was no were near the nerf CoC got.

Exactly and after that supports will be the same now instead of other spells. So really the only difference is 3x cast speed making self cast 3x stronger.

Not to mention real wands or things like PoH
real all spall dam tree you can use self cast
etc

The single spell and speed caps are just devastating for CoC

I keep seeing people saying bladefall got a buff when it actually got a nerf for mines/trappers. Bladefall currently targets the enemy when triggered while other abilities with mines/traps don't work the same way, this made it better than other mines/trap choices.

Also poison took a hit although not a huge nerf it's still a nerf. They also stated poison will be reworked in the next big update.

For people wondering why lightning tendrils isn't including in the channeled spells is because it's taking longer to rework and make it better, one of the devs stated this in a podcast and he said it wouldn't be ready for 2.4 but will be done in the next major update.

For people complaining about the earthquake nerf, the nerf isn't to huge it's still completely viable. Also I see people saying no other melee skills are viable when infect they're quite viable such as icecrash, dominating blow, lacerate, reave, etc. Those are just some of the stronger ones I listed since every ability is still viable.

I suppose the only complaint I can consider valid is the KB nerf with shotgunning on icewalls. I really wonder what plans GGG has for this skill now since what are we going to do with it besides wall our friends in for fun. This hurts many builds actually besides KB and lightning arrow such as arctic breath but at least arctic breath got a damage boost. What I think they're trying to do is get people to use a clearing skill and boss killing skill for builds instead of just using one to kill everything.
KB and lighting arrows still have insane clear speed outside of bosses.

The best part about this patch is all of the tears from CoC players when they clearly started cast on crit was going to be nerfed/reworked.


TLDR instead of whining how about thinking up of some good unique builds yourself.

Yes, they are. But when all you saw in Prophecy was CoC builds, that's the "why" in why they were nerfed. I understand being a little OP, but CoC bordered on exploit-level of OP.

You forgot about mjolner. This is most valid complain. Using icewall was exploiting mechanics. It never suppose to work that way. Mjolner was designed that way from beginning and intentionally.

EVERY second skill has insane clearing speed of mobs. Problems are always bosses. What make OP build OP is just ability to kill boss fast. Every1 can kill mobs with anything.
I think all bow skills should get a 500ms cooldown and 100% chance to cast tempchains on player and chilled ground on use.

That would balance the game a far better than GGG's bullshit.

You don't need to kill bosses fast when you can just temporal chain and enfeeble them. Even the patch notes gave a hit tip to how easy it is to wipe the floor with bosses using the right mechanics.
