If GGG actually thought Ele Conflux was too good, just goes to show they don't know their own game.

Seriously considering skipping this league.

Mjolners that used to be 70+ exalteds are now worthless, and Coc builds that had ben fine tuned over the last few years are now unplayable.
It seems that what is being lost in all the whining of "You don't do what I want? I quit!" crowd, is that there is no new obvious meta.

Perhaps new uniques will enable some interesting builds.

Oh heck yeah. You know that the types of players who first thought of shatterchuck, Mjolner/Discharge and Lightning Arrow+Pierce+Frost Wall aren't in here complaining, they're the ones looking at the changes and new items and figuring out the new stuff that other people will be complaining about next balance patch.

I like this idea. Or maybe it generates twice the charges instead so that stuff like enduring cry in a pack of enemies is more worthwhile.

lack of new obvious meta is not being lost in whining, the whining is the purest indication that there is no new obvious meta.

CoC is only big nerv when you doing massive attack speed builds. 100% chance and more spell damage with downside being max triggers per second decreased and casting in order. I have two CoC builds that will perform a lot more consistently now, whereas my other ones ripped. I welcome the change :-) .

The damage bonus of the Less Duration support gem has been reduced. At level 1, it has been reduced from 20% to 10%. At level 20, it has been reduced from 29% to 19%. Given the strong utility of this gem, it doesn't need a damage bonus that high.
Pierce's mana multiplier has been increased from 110% to 130%. Its damage at high levels only has been reduced. Its damage at level 20 has been reduced from +29% to +19%. Given the strong utility of this gem, it doesn't need a damage bonus that high.


the utility was the name of the spell. the purpose of using them was the damage multiplier. at least be honest.
