The patch notes explicitly referred to it as an 'exploit'.
Patch notes referred to it as an exploit because it was intentionally developed that way, this is a computer game base coded by 0's and 1's and that means we want "X" and we get "X" not we want "C" and we get "Pie" so the developers just want to cover their asses for introducing a mechanic that so many people utilized while others cried.
