i switch to frostbolt find it less dangerous and more fun for breach and clearspeed in general ( keep freezing pulse for boss)

also just switch frostwall with frostbomb in cwdt setup give monster minus 20 frost resist and reduce life regen while frostwall are nice and can save you they almost always block you and can kill you

Inquisitor treats all enemy resistances as zero, it doesn't matter what you do to their cold res, its always set at zero.
yes but i cannot stand frostwall anymore and we do not always crit so it can help on dps and the bomb child and can event freeze when explode at the end of the duration also the reduce life regen

Quick question :

Are all the freeze jewels still necessary with the 10% freeze from The Halcyon Amulet ?

Kind of low on ES and looking to upgrade a little bit

Thanks for the build, super enjoyable so far!

Glad you enjoy the build!

You don't need all jewels with freeze duration because the amulet gives you the equivalent of two jewels (30%). But, if you have problems to perma-freeze bosses, then you should consider increasing your freeze duration because is a more multiplier for freeze threshold considerations.

I have another question: Why do you suggest slower projectiles support instead of faster projectiles support for single target dps boost? I have been trying to kill Uber Lab Izaro and the slower projectile has been forcing me to stay near the boss due to the short life time of the freezing pulse projectile, and has been causing me to die. I looked up the stats and slow/fast proj have the same damage. Am I missing something here? Faster projectiles seems to accomplish the same thing except you can stay at a safer range from the boss

Edit: I tried the fight with faster projectiles and it is a world of difference. Instead of firing one/two shots and having to run away or be hit by a melee attack/clipped by one of Izaro's abilities, the distance let's you hit 4-5 shots before having to dodge. It made the first 2 aspirant trials a complete joke to handle. The third one was only challenging because of having to attack while avoiding the traps in the room, but that will become easier with practice.

Also, I like your GMP idea for breaches instead of the Ice Nova I was suggesting. I was thinking of putting Ice Nova with Increased Area of Effect and a few other things before I realized I might as well play a different build if I needed to switch that much. So I tried GMP in a few breaches and it looks like it works pretty well, the extra 2 projectiles make a lot of difference

I think using GMP for breaches and Faster Projectiles for Izaro is the way to go

Faster projectiles gives you more range, plus considering that damage on FP decrease while the projectile travels away from the caster. But, is not the same damage than Slower Projectiles.

Faster Projectiles is 29% INCREASED damage and Slower Projectiles is 29% MORE damage.

In general, integer modifiers are applied before percentages. Percentage modifiers using the words "% increased" or "% reduced" stack additively with one another, while "% more" and "% less" modifiers stack multiplicatively.

That means from FP tooltip with both L20 gems and Instruments of Virtue up: 181K DPS (Slower Projectiles) vs 155K DPS (Faster Projectiles).

Basically I think that SP works based on Blasphemy + Warlord's Mark for sustain survivability. But of course, Faster Projectiles is another good choice if you prefer a safe distance.
Hi, I have a few questions.
At what level should i move to CI? Should i have a certain amount of ES?
Thanks!

Frostbolt only has 5% base crit compared to 6% on the pulse, so you are going to lose a ton of crit chance

Its true, but in reality it doesnt really matter, as there are always multiple projectiles all around, so the result is the same - permafreeze of everything.

this is what your wrote under aura's section:
-HERALD OF ICE + Curse on Hit + Assassin's Mark + Warlord's Mark: dual curse spread setup for getting our 4 Power Charges and constant ES instant replenish thanks to WM.
You have to link an offensive skill to curse on hit and the warlord's mark to activate the curse. So how are u going to cast that curse, that is very important to replenish your ES pool.

When you shatter an enemy when you kill it, herald of ice causes an explosion from that death, and that is what applies the curses.

Also, someone earlier on suggested greater multiple projectiles for breaches, and since I have been struggling, I tried it. It was a huge improvement for me to survive breaches, if anyone else is having trouble getting overwhelmed.
I'm hesitant to put the dual curse dependent on the shatter off of Herald of Ice. Mostly because I like the reliability of Blasphemy + Warlord's Mark. Other than bosses, do you ever have issues with getting curses to apply?

I tested the AoE on arctic breath and with a few AoE nodes it's HUGE. With Carcass Jack + Increased AoE the radius is about the size of the circle in Elreon's hideout. http://static1.gamespot.com/uploads/original/416/4161502/2615791-loremaster_01.png Obviously Jack isn't good for CI but it's a good indicator. I just got a mediocre 6L so I want to try out how reliable the shotgun effect of the AoE on AB is. However I have to get 48 regrets and all new resistence gear to shift from my life/es stuff over to ES/CI. With Ancestral Knowledge I literally can't test these spells yet. *sadness* Too many fire nodes, not enough cold nodes.

Arctic Breath also gains the ability to use the Concentrated Effect support gem that can boost damage by 59% MORE damage when needed!

Also, what about using the classic Orb of Storms + PCoC to manage power charges? I am enjoying have 6 max power charges + the 4% spell damage per power charge node for a damage boost on my FB totem build.

I enjoyed this build alot until i ripped (BHC) - now redid it with Spelltotem - and it is actually much stronger! You kill faster and are much safer!
The tree is somewhat different now, also some gears, so just if you are interested can check my char on BHC - but thanks to the OP for hinting me to FP, and also you level like this to maybe lvl 60 and then can switch to totems.
