What about Victario's Acuity? Because i think it will beat the 80% increased dmg from Halcyon easy, and we probably dont really need that freeze duration so badly (as the video from 2.4 proves).

what do you think of Hypothermia.cold penetration and empower support gem.event if it give great dps the controller destruction feel out of place in a crit build?
about Hypothermia Support can give you 39% more damage with chance to freeze with not draw back but ya not sure how it work from what i read when you freezee you also chill( from wiki: when a target is frozen, it is also chilled for the freeze duration plus an additional 300 milliseconds.) but imagine the first hit on enemy dont have the extra damage since he not chill yet and cold penetration how you can event test this with no log ? What would you suggest as a good AoE skill for breaches? I find them difficult atm with just freezing pulse as you can only shoot in one direction at a time and the mobs end up surrounding you faster than you can take them out. Leads up to a clusterfuck of ice walls and mobs where I can't see what's going on and end up dying

For Breaches, I started using actual Surgeon's Stubnite, Divine Life and Diamond. I actually survive most of the Breaches now. The lightning and cold ones are kind of iffy lol. Whoever lands the first shot essentially. Vaal Discipline pretty much helps all around too.
Oh all of those Surgeon's Flask is remove bleed only. I couldn't roll anything else >.> |

i switch to frostbolt find it less dangerous and more fun for breach and clearspeed in general ( keep freezing pulse for boss)
also just switch frostwall with frostbomb in cwdt setup give monster minus 20 frost resist and reduce life regen while frostwall are nice and can save you they almost always block you and can kill you |

I'm saving the points from lvl 70-75 to go CI and get Infused Shield, Ghost Reaver & Vaal Pact. Then will put points into shadow crit nodes or energy shield nodes by the witch. I also need to get my flasks right and Valyrium.. or skyforth, lol. |

" I tried Hypothermia some time ago. Imo is not reliable just for what you already stated: before the enemy is chilled, you can't count with that damage boost and sometimes without it, you can't chill. Of course, just hardest bosses. Cold penetration is useless because mob resistances are already zero thanks to Inevitable Judgement. I already tried L3 Empower and gives less damage than actual 6L setup. Edit: Controlled Destruction is great if you manage to achieve almost cap crit chance even with it. Like stated on post, that is possible thanks to PC/Diamond.
