So, if i never ever complete any map and than buy t15s and complete only them and play them, will i only get t15 t16 and t1 drops?

No. You will only drop maps that you have unlocked on the atlas, and ones adjacent to the map your running.

That doesnt answer my question at all. I have empty atlas. I buy t15s, which lead to the guardians. I complete only those t15s, so they r unlocked. Now i buy more t15s and run only them. So my map pool consists of only the unlocked t15s, t16s, t1s and the few t14s, which connect to the t15s.

The probably real question here is, how maps drop? Do i have a separate drop chance for each tier or is it a global chance to drop a map and than it will be decided, which tier it is? If it's the former, than what i implied 1st, wouldnt work the way, i think. If it's the later, than it would.

Holy shit I'm not sure why this game needed more reasons to not do bad layout maps but it just got it. This system means you should only ever do 1 map you want from each tier, then you just get all maps of that tier to be the perfect one you want. Why even have other maps at that point. Even if the 1% bonus map drop is important you can just fill it out on the shit map tiers you would just vendor or leave on the ground anyway. I can't wait to only ever do one single tier 10 map and one single tier 11 etc for 3 months. I know ggg thinks abusing stuff like this is cute but this is just silly. It actually punishes you for just doing random maps. Just fuck up once and now half your gorges turn into excavations(or whatever it will be on the atlas) instead.

lol

map drops → rolls a locked map → oops map drop canceled.

Is it possible to use shaper's orbs more than once on lower tier maps?
As in, could you upgrade a tier 5 map to a tier 10 map and then upgrade it again to a tier 15 map?
On the first day of gaming, RNG brought for me: one Flame Hellion of Frost on The Rocky Climb.

please guys,
who not use this atlas as a storage for maps also?
people are gonna have to sort their maps in tabs and stuff, and it would be nicer
if they could get stored in the atlas instead

Red Maps (Tiers 11-16): Kill the map boss in a corrupted rare version of the map.

Ughhhh seriously??? This whole system does not sound good at all.

Also use some critical thinking. This isnt making maps great again this is making us run maps with terrible layouts so we can unlock other maps...

I would assume it works like legacy maps in Standard where you unlock all maps leading up to that T15 once you run it.

That's a good thought, and a logical way to solve some of the issues people are talking about if it is indeed the case.

No worry dude. Make easy 1 mod magic, regal easy mod. Now vaal, often u get just the corrupted tag or sometimes it will unid the map. I both cases u can run the map having only 2 easy mods as rare corrupted.

Well, it's the most likely way to have it work to prevent straight-up abuse; however, it still lets you use the system in a favourable way, along with the looming possibility of fucking over account-wide bonusses if you run 1 bad map (see my post on previous page).
I'm still a bit lost with the Shapers Orbs mechanic.

...you'll receive a tier 10 Shaper's Orb, allowing you to upgrade a tier 10 map of your choice to tier 15.

Does that mean only T10, or could I upgrade a T1-9 if I prefered?

Maps you've previously completed in this league (including on other characters).
Maps that are connected to the one you're playing on the Atlas.
Tier 1 maps.

Unshaped versions will not drop for you any more.
Shaped maps are five tiers higher.
All items... are five item levels higher than they would otherwise be.

So firstly T1 can always drop and secondly if they drop shaped then they drop 5 levels higher. How do these two mechanics interact?
If I shape a T1 does that mean I'll get one T6 dropping at the T1 rate? (because the drop rate was decided by the T1 and then map was shaped to T6)
Or when the system goes reaching for a T1 will it never find the shaped version? (because now there are only 3 T1s on my Atlas)

And then tying in the first question, could I eliminate T1s from my pool entirely?

If we farm up to T15 in a single path and use a Shaper Orb on a T10, will those now T10+5 maps drop in the T8/T9 maps of that path or do we have to run T13/T14 maps to get it?

According to ZiggyD T10+5 IS T15 map with all consicuence. You have to run t13-15 to get it. Drop rate is lower than original t10.

Yeah just saw the video now. So it might not make sense upgrading your favourite map to a high tier where you're hardly ever going to see it again.

eg. If Gorge is T9 (note sure what tier it is now), then it might be better not upgrading it with a Shaper Orb to a T14 as it is going to be much harder to find and the Gorge drop will also be spread across the other T14 map(s) you ran to get the Shaper Orb, decreasing its drop rate to almost nothing.

If you want to farm maps strategically, it might be best to just not use Shaper Orb and just farm up one path to the map you want to run. This will ensure that only the map you want will drop from that tier and if you run out then you can quickly farm it back up because you have lower maps that can only drop maps which lead up to it again.

Just because you use a shapers orb doesn't mean the normal version of the map will never drop.

The normal version of a map will still drop in the relevant tier maps, the Shapered version can only drop in tiers that are relevant to it.
