Prophecy Challenge Statistics

About 110 hours played. Not that long. In my case, two weeks at eight hours played per day (took time off at the beginning of the league).

Soooooo. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If you mean full blown SSF, yeah, it's more difficult, but the presumption here is that you're going to be at least be running a shop (not necessarily "playing the market").

I don't mean full blown SSF, but still, I'm having a hard time gathering currency this league, and I say that despite making my own 6L and having 5 Ex drop that helped me gear up. No one's buying anything from my shop, I hardly earned any prophecies worth selling, and my only new currency is coming from the chaos recipe since jewellers and fuse are fairly worthless this league. I'd buy silver, but my chaos isn't going to take me that far. I haven't started farming uber lab, so maybe that will help.

My problem is twofold: 1) I'm not the best trader; I really don't enjoy trading but I do it because I have to if I want decent gear, and 2) I tend to play non-meta builds and things that are new to me. My first build this league was Essence Drain + Contagion (purple ftw), which I found supremely underwhelming, especially while leveling, but I took it to 90 then gave in and made an EQ build.

I don't think this league's challenges are, well, challenging; they are simply a significant grind (I actually completed 36 challenges far quicker in Perandus) and I'm not surprised at the small numbers at 36 or higher, not to mention that your experiences and ability to play 8 hours a day are exceptional.

leagues in general getting more boring over time, game needs some real endgame, or i cant stand it longer....

Takes years even to get to 24 lol. I am at 13 and I am already fed up with making challenges. I mean killing 1200 times voll, wtf... oO

I thought more would have above 20 at least

Anyone with a significant amount of completed challenges will have a skewed perspective. We all tend to hang out with each other. In others words, when we play all we see is people with 20+ challenges. And in the past week, for me anyway, everyone is in the neighborhood of 30. For that matter, I regularly see 40's here and there, though probably the same people playing different characters.

the 15 runs needed to seal away an unwanted lab enchantment (unil i want to run the lab) helps alot.

for better scaling of the graph it would probably be better to only include players with 3 or more challenges
age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
Nice! Very nice! Just need to get my butt in gear and complete some more challenges!

I found this league more fun than Perandus. But after hitting 36 challenges a litter over a week ago, and now having a second characters in the low 80's, I probably will be taking a break.

I need a break between leagues, which is why I like the leagues and don't play standard. I can take a break and come back with a fresh start, where everyone else is in the same boat, or rather at the same dock in their own boat waiting for the signal flare. I know my sail boat won't keep up with the motor boats, but at least we left the dock at the same time.
As you can see, we have a combination here of:

1. Prophecy is underwhelming and costs too much to skip props that are a waste of time
2. Purple and monkeys. Love it or hate it. If you don't love it, why put effort into challenges?
3. Too many of the challenges are just too much effort this time around

As a result, a majority are only getting challenges that fall on them automatically
People who don't like the Labyrinth are not a minority: Be heard - say you don't like it in your signature. Don't leave complaining about lab to others - GGG needs to see how many people dislike it. Ascendancy must be gated on true ARPG content, not a poorly-crafted internet Legend of Zelda wannabe.
why doing prophecies? no reward really. my reward in prophecy is that I did UBER LAB! yeah baby
