done in zerker build. for the chieftain i still w8 that he calculate the phys as extra fire note correctly

I'm also planning to start the new league with this build as it looks quite fun :)

I find it difficuly to choose between berserker and chieftain. Based on the pro and contra section, chieftain looks better but then I saw a comment that berserker is more (shaper) DPS.

What class will you take and what would be the argument that defines your decision? :)

Played this version last league as my first serious character. Now i wanted to try to do a Facebreaker Hierophant with MoM, because i found that the 2 totem version got much better playstyle wise for me when i got tukohama's for the third totem. So now hierophant for a budget version as starter. I tried to modifiy this build, but either run out of points before getting the damage or the life. Getting a 2H-axe/sword setup helped a little in the pathing, but I'm still not happy with the result. Does anyone here have a tree which seems decent?

This is my build so far, i took Lifting's AW Champion and modified it, so the gear is suboptimal/odd for the tree. But i didn't want to delve deeper into my gearing choices until my tree looked a little more decent than this.
What would you guys change to make it better/get it to work wiht facebreaker?

I'm starting new league with this build I decided to go scion-ascendant-chieftain-slayer route.
Maybe I will switch later slayer for hierophant/ascendant when I can afford tukohama shield and switching do blood magic keystone. This will be blood magic 4 totem final mode. But I'm not yet sure maybe chieftain/slayer/ascendant will be great and I fall in love on perm leech. Not sure yet, will provide feedback later.

He will be able to. New wording says just on hit, not when you Hit them, as was at first preview.

Ahhh, good catch! Might have to go Chieftain for Bestiary then, that's juicy.

now that the patch notes are out, i would like to know if
a) this guide gets updated (maybe even before the actual season starts)
b) according to the new patch, does this build got buffed, nerfed or not really touched?


The next season will be my first season in POE and i want to plan ahead asmuch as possible

With Chieftain what's the point of using Hatred if you're taking Avatar of Fire? or you just copypasted everything from Berserker
