[ Suggestion ] Path of Exile - Lost Treasures

TL;DR but you have done an incredible job at presenting this. Will read through later.
Rapid assault shoud be deffinitely changed, for things like barrage coc. You don't care at all about barrage dps, only about amount of hits (and crit chance). Sure there is cooldown on coc gem itself but it would be very easy to get to maximum usable aps with rapid assault and calibrated macro without investments in attack speed. Seems op to me. Without reducing crit chance of skill used with rapid assault there would be examples of behaviour like this.
Amazing presentation and creativity.

When do you have time to play the actual game? :)
Wow, mindblowing. Nothing more to say.

Okay, one more: GREAT WORK!
the wall of text hit me with 263463462362 damage
Nice well thought improvements, these should find their way in PoE, if not they should be remembered for PoE 2...

+1 for the ideas, I hope to see as many as possible reaching Standard realm too, not only the temporary leagues...
PSS: Our almighty TencentGGG overlords are very scrupulous regarding criticizing their abilities to take proper decisions and consider everything "needlessly harsh and condescending"...

Good to know "free speech" doesn't apply in any form or manner on the forums these days...
Insane quality post.

I do not agree with all of it but damn was it a nice read.
[2.2] The Vampire - Tanky 2H Axe Slayer Duelist - /view-thread/1611662
Just wanted to add my voice to the choir preaching the praises for the quality and effort of the OP. While I feel the game doesn't necessarily need the suggested features (especially the high power level some of it offers) I cannot but appreciate the passion and the careful crafting of ideas.

Good show, Hilldrake, good show.
Your post made me cry Hilldrake... I mean your post made me EYE-GASM! :)

Beautiful work on everything Hilldrake. I love not only the GIFs and fantastic artsy fartsy stuff you've done but also the bulk of your suggestions.

I primarily play Marauder so in regards to the Profession system I looked at Mastersmith and Carto professions (didn't look at others at all so won't comment on them).

The Mastersmith looks pretty... generic. If I'm understanding it correctly you get to enhance the 5 armors (chest, gloves, boots, helm and shield if using one) but weapon enhancements get the limitation of the sheathing system ie. after 56 attacks you no longer get enhancement benefit and need to sheath and let it regen. But the weapon enhancements are meh anyway... the only reason I'd sheath on the builds I play is before I enter a Boss encounter. I dunno... it's an interesting concept... I guess it could allow players to finally use weapon swap for something other than levelling more gems to use/sell but... I wouldn't really use the sheath mechanic based on the pro's/con's offered in the suggestion.

(Also while reading Mastersmith I noticed you say "Apply a Metal Reinforcement to weapons...yada yada" and not all the materials are metal. Not sure if this is typo or what not... just pointing it out cos it confused me).

The Cartographer... able to craft 25% increased experience gain on maps :O Able to upgrade maps to the next tier :O Gives compasses that based on the examples provided are mostly about boosting movement speed in maps :O Yep. Sign me up for Cartographer. If you're not 100 and WANT to go for 100 you'd be crazy to choose the other professions (again I only looked at Mastersmith and Carto so may be very wrong... but geez Carto is bomb diggidy imo).

I really like the materials and ores suggestion. I assume when you say "Nearby enemies get XYZ" on the ore's description... you mean if monster mines the Ore, upgrades, it gets an aura that buffs surrounding monsters (cos they wouldn't be it's enemies). Yeah I could see these ore's leading to some awesome fights based on some of the penalties to players if a monster successfully destroys the ore. The only thing is getting the ore HP right because most builds 1 shot whites to rares anyway because powercreep... so yeah. But ya know... if they're placed in groups of 7-8 and some are behind barriers giving monster time/protection to kill the ore... then yeah could lead to some cool fights (I'm thinking esp. in Beyond maps and the Labyrinth).

I like the new gems you have suggested. I'm not a fan of the augments - the rapid and charged assaults. Yeah... I don't even know how these would work with totems or summons either :P But yeah, as a lazy PoE player the gem 'Unconciousness' = gimmie gimmie :)

Lab dice... yes plz, Plz, PLz, PLLLLLZZZZZZZ! Great suggestion and visual representation of how it would work. I hope GGG see's it and runs with it. The check-points... yeah I'm not gonna argue against some DC protection in Uber Lab which I'd actually farm if there was the dice system implemented.

Cursed Artifacts... you were always going to draw comparisons to Diablo 2's Horadric Cube and Charms with this suggestion. It's fine though... I see your system is different in that cursed artifacts give pro's AND con's. It does concern me however that like Diablo 2:LOD my endgame exile will have no space left to pick anything up because I'll be stocked up on Artifacts. I think limit them to the Box maybe... dunno.

Quality of Life. No comment needed here. Beautiful presentation of idea to solve various QoL issues in the game. I like all your QoL fixes and hope they get some attention from GGG.

Thanks for the wonderful post Hilldrake. You have a real talent in making impressive digital presentations. Thank you for taking the time to sculpt this wonderful suggestion post.

I usually do not read popular posts again after i made a comment on it, unless it's one of my own. I wish to have a Black robed Grim Reaper micro set in game one day, grant my wish, GGG
