So I'm using this watchers eye
https://imgur.com/a/7Jck5hQ I'm also using Zealot's Oath. Why doesn't the "increased life recovery rate while affected by vitality" work for me? ...Yes I am affected by vitality |
|
" How are you checking this? Increases to life recovery rate are applied to the sum of all forms of live recovery - this includes life regeneration, any active life flasks, life leech, and so on. If you're just looking at the life regeneration stat then you won't notice a difference due to this. “Please understand that imposing strong negative views regarding our team on to other players when you are representing our most helpful forum posters is not appropriate.” — GGG 2022

" Where I'm checking it? Nowhere! I did the mathematics. It doesn't apply to me. I have 1254 life * 0,9 = 1128 11850 ES * 0,7 = 8295 + 1128 = 9423 fire dmg per second 79% fire res 9423 * 0.21 = 1978.83 and then 5% off because of pantheon so 1978.83 * 0.95 = 1879.8885 = 1880 ____________________ SO MY DEGEN IS 1880. -------------------- As for Regen I'm guardian 7 auras. Unwavering Faith 0.2 * 7 = 1.4% Asc tree "Armour and Energy Shield, Life regeneration" = 0.5% Quick Recovery = 0.8% Shaper = 1% Combat Stamina = 1% Armour and Life Regeneration = 0.3% Life Regeneration = 0.5% Arsonist = 1% Sanctity = 1% 1+1+1+1+1.4+0.5+0.5+0.8+0.3 = 7.5% Vitality is currently at level 17 so 1.5% which is multiplied increased effect of non curse auras i cast (20% with sovereignty and 2 aura effect nodes from ASC tree.) 1.5*1.2 = 1.8% 1.8 + the 7.5 = 9.3% then add another 3% because I've got the Shavronne's Revelation in my right ring slot. 9.3 + 3 = 12.3% Then I've got a Chain belt that has 17% increased Energy Shield recovery rate Which would be 12.3 * 1.17 = 14.391 with that my regen would be 11850 * 0.1439 = 1705 Degen -1880+ Regen1705 = 175 thus my NET REGEN is -175~ish ( which seems about right looking at my ES bar going down ingame from 11850 to 1125( kind of a guess. numbers are decreasing rapidly with around -150 to -175 a second) in about 4 seconds so -150 ) So this is fact. My Energy Shield __IS__ going down with about that 175 a second. This is _FACT_ Now if we were to add the 24%increase recovery from the watchers eye... That'd be 17% from the belt + 24 which is 41% so 12.3 * 1.41 = 17.343 with that my regen would be 11850 * 0.1734 = 2054.79 Degen -1880+ Regen 2054 = 174. Moral of the story TL;DR: If watchers eye vitality life recovery worked with zealot's oath My ES would not go down by 175 a sec but up. |

I apologise; I must have misread your post. I somehow hadn't realised that you were using Zealot's Oath (which I realise you did in fact say - in a rather short post, too).

" So is it not Supposed to work with it or what? |
|
Hinekora, Death's Fury
"10% chance to Cover Rare or Unique Enemy in Ash for 10 Seconds when you Hit them." This does not work with totems. For a class (and a specific node) that has so much totem synergy: Why NOT make it work for totems too? Now I have to figure out a good way to hit things to cover them in ash, maybe sometimes sorta. This makes Monk sad :( Monk no play totem chieftain until this buffed |

" First, it is not "when you Hit them", but "on Hit". The former might have been questionable; the latter absolutely applies to all hits with your skills, even if the skill was cast by a proxy. I have just tested this myself and my Flame Totem definitely did cover a rare skeleton in Ash. Everything seems to be working as intended. What makes you believe this doesn't work? The Ash effect is very subtle, and would be easy to miss in combat. Also, are you sure that you are actually using a totem skill that Hits enemies? Something like Scorching Ray will not cover an enemy in Ash, since it doesn't Hit in the first place. Last edited by Abdiel_Kavash#5296 on Jul 14, 2018, 10:12:08 AM

It does? Oh thank you so much! Wish I knew more about the wiki, or else I'd add that to it.

" Keep in mind that Regeneration and Recovery are two different stats that do different things. Not everything that applies to one also affects the other. You are not Recovering Life, you are Recovering Energy Shield. Life Recovery Rate modifiers will not affect Energy Shield Recovery rate. (And vice versa.) Zealot's Oath changes your Life Regeneration stat to regenerate Energy Shield instead; but it does nothing for Recovery modifiers. Life Recovery Rate will still affect the rate at which your Life is recovered (for example, from flasks). Last edited by Abdiel_Kavash#5296 on Jul 15, 2018, 12:45:34 AM

Repeating Infernal Blow questions:
1) Infernal Blow debuff deals an additional 5% of Damage per charge. Is this a more multiplier? What's the damage formula for this skill before and after the enchantment? 2) Is the 66% damage per charge up to 6 charges base damage or 66% of your hit damage (up to 122.8%~)? Thanks.
