hi all, I have a question about the 'far shot' ascendancy node. Since I have Lioneye's glare already (which has 'far shot'), will the damage from both far shots stack together if I take the ascendancy node?

Help will be appreciated. :)
You either have Far Shot, or not. So, no, it won't stack.
The Wise Oak unique flask states that 'During Flask Effect, Damage Penetrates 15% Resistance Of Each Element For Which Your Uncapped Elemental Resistance Is The Highest'.

My uncapped cold resistance is 82%. My uncapped lightning resistance is also 82%. Will I get cold damage penetration, lightning damage penetration, or both, or neither (since neither is 'highest')?

Is there any in game way to specifically identify resistance penetration (other than how 'fast' a boss dies, etc)?

This means the arc may contribute to the distance traveled, most people think that it does not, however I see nothing which gives a definitive answer either way.


The z-axis (eg: up or down "movement") doesn't actually exist in the calculation in a way that could influence the calculation. So, the answer is that the fact it is an "arc" rather than anything else doesn't actually influence distance travelled.

Both. It says "for each uncapped resistance that is highest".

If all of your three uncapped resistances are the same, you will get both the damage reduction and penetration for all three elements!

It should be properly displayed in the character screen while the flask is active.

Disclaimer: that this only shows global penetrations. Effects that depend on the state of the monster (ignited/chilled/etc) obviously won't show up on the sheet.

Quick question:
Trickster> Ascendency> Weave of the Arcane> "20% Chance to Recover 10% Maximum Mana when you use a Skill". My goal was to use this passive combined with the "10% Chance to Recover 10% Maximum mana when you use a Skill" on a Watcher´s Eye Clarity Mod. Also there is the Essence of Insanity craft on Amuletes for another 10%.

In total you should get up to 40-45% chance to recover 30% maximum mana. After I got my Trickster to lvl 77 und got all three stats together I realized it doesnt work. I have 5000 Mana and 30% would be 1500 Mana recoverd instant, but I never saw a single 1500 mana stack recoverd. There are only 500 mana recoverd when it happens which also doesnet happen on a 42% chance, much more like a 20% chance.

Honestly I dont have much hope that this gets clarification. I thought this could stack :( Lets hope GGG reworks there wording for such things.

You're interpreting this wrong. All "X% chance to do Y" with the same Y are simply added together. They don't result in independent rolls, and they can't grant Y more than once.

Thus with three different sources of "10% chance to recover 10% maximum mana when you use a skill", you will have only one 30% chance to recover 10% of your mana.

Can i put ED into a Staff, apply it and than switch to my alternative weapons and the DOT will still do damage until its duration wears of, or will switching weapons cancel the effect, as i dont have the source of it anymore (ED socketed in not active weapon set)?

I ask because i play an DO (deaths Oath) occultist, which lacks a bit in single target DPS and id like to use a 5-6link staff in alternative weapon set to quicky apply ED on bosses and than switch back to my normal setup. Is that possible?
Hello guys, I'm sorry to bother you, but I couldn't find an answer anywhere. I'd like to know if the first attack is also affected when I use curse on hit or Worthy Foe (champion asc) or only the subsequential hits are affected by the curse or the cannot evade mechanic from Worthy Foe. Logicaly I would say it affects subsequential attacks, not the first hit, but on the other hand, having 70% chance to hit with the first attack as champion seems very clunky and ppl still play it. Thanks for any explanation!
