I can confirm this - dropped Headsman and most of the issues are fixed now.

Bump. This makes running maps safely almost impossible. 5 second hang on a pack with a Soul Conduit rare.

I just obtained my final 2 ascendancy points, and I'm hesitant to even use them because of the state of this node. It's pretty simple to observe this bug:
1) Obtain Headsman node. 2) Go stand in a low level area and let 10+ mobs gather around you. 3) 1-shot the pack. Large lag spike occurs. 4) Remove Headsman node and repeat. No lag occurs. The Endless Retch: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1655814

And that is only for you, and the few others that have replied to this thread. I have the Headsman node, and I see no appreciable difference in my gameplay.
Just to be clear. I am not discounting what you see at all. Your PC specs might help them track this down. A DxDiag might help. All I have seen is "Me too" posts with no usable information other than "It'll be easy to see". Well, no, it isn't.
