Melee Physical Damage on Full Life Support

Anyone else find this one funny? I mean, kind of sums up the state of melee... right?

Lol, good one. Took me a while to realise it tho.
I thought the same thing when I saw 'Minion Life Support'. But yeah, they're not on full life support though like melee.

I always thought it should also grant 1-2% life regen, it would go well with the new name.

Melee needs some kind of benefit over ranged, atm it has none plus more downsides.
Actually I have very good use for this support gem as melee, using 78/78 block with Aegis shield, thus most of the time I'm at full life and full ES due to high block. As I fight ES drops and goes back up immediately and hardly ever lose hp.
I see what you did there. It would seem a lot of people did not catch the word-play.
The whole "support tag" added to support gems is just silly.
