[2.6] The Curse Whisperer - Tri-Curse CI Whispering Ice Elementalist - Viable for Everything

Hey there Kelvynn, your guides are awesome (this one, and the adaptations for other classes). I started this build as my second on in Breach Hardcore without too much currency to spend but your leveling guide made it doable. I have some questions concerning this build in hardcore.

First of all, do you think enfeeble with CwDT ball lightning is reliable enough for hardcore? Is there any way I can run enfeeble with blasphemy? (Maybe with enlighten and Heretic's Veil) Would this setup be better than to run Arctic Armour and have occasional enfeebles up?

I know that the Black Sun Crest provides lots of damage and it gives us some Energy Shield from the int, but wouldn't I be better for Hardcore with a high es helm? I don't have the currency to try it out.

Lastly, is going for the Unwavering Stance the safest way to play this build? I was wondering if maybe getting practical application I could be safe from stuns and get more energy shield nodes from the tree.

Thanks for your time, just an inexperienced player here trying to keep playing this awesome build in the hardcore league :)

Because the CWDT setup is level 1, and the build is played in relatively close range, and the coverage you get with ball lightning, literally every mob will be cursed.

Damage=leech=survivability. Ultimately, getting 9-10K ES with Black Sun is not very hard. Most all of our ES scaling comes from int (1500 int= 300% increased ES... which is a lot).

You definitely need some form of stun immunity. The int we get on the way down to Unwavering makes it SUPER efficient, since it is 100% damage AND ES. It looks like you are going way out of your way, but because of Brute Force Solution jewels, almost all of that strength gets converted to int.
U MAD?
Hey,

i really love this build. I´m currently on the way to get lvl 100. I just have done some crazy double Beyond Courtyards. Is there anything i can do to improve the performance a little bit?

You can see some examples in the Video at 3:50 and 4:40. (was my first video, i hope it works)

Thoughts on dropping Potency of Will so I could use lightning warp with faster casting and less duration instead? Wi gets constantly recasted anyways or not? Instead I could go spec the int on the left side of the tree and grab Celestial Judgement. Imo lightning warp is way better for fast mapping or is fortify too important for this build?
Gear check please. I am at 1500 int, 7200 es, resistances capped. I can do everything up to T15 pretty easily but when I tried Lair of the hydra, the boss one shots me.

Please suggest what gear I should replace next.

when you're mapping, you want one icestorm to kill a pack. having icestorm last longer is very helpful for that. when you're fighting strong bosses, you want to stack as many icestorms on him as possible. having icestorm last longer helps with that. long story short: potency of will is effectively like a 45% MORE multiplier to our icestorm. skipping it is definitely not a good idea.

for moving around the map, use movement with quicksilver flasks and, possibly, silver flasks. way quicker than leap slam. leap slam is only good for procing fortify at the start of an engagement. to speed up ordinary mapping, I'm using vaal haste with inc dura. but I'm playing selfcast, so its more valuable than for cwc versions of this build, where vaal haste would only provide movespeed.

New video: Hall of Grandmasters deathless full clear (Berserker)

Hall of Grandmasters is an awesome farm area IF you can clear it (hint: it drops sac frags and cards from Apex of Sacrifice/Alluring Abyss). It was very easy before 2.4 but then it got major upgrades and became much harder. Still, with some practice it can be cleared relatively easily with this build.

neat video!
do you often get oneshot by danziGG?

No, he usually insta-dies before I even notice him. Pre-stacked 14 Icestorms are no joke. About half of my runs are deathless, the other times I die 1 or 2 times to:
a) mull_gubben or Kriath if I fail to notice them and get away quickly;
b) some crit Flameblast guy (Vexis?) who sometimes manages to cast a Flameblast and crit it before he dies;
c) random high level archers (including DanziGG) that get lucky, usually in combination with somebody else who distracts me.

Dropping Potency of Will would ruin you. Icestorms stack.

Your best movement skill is not LW anyway. It's

In an ideal scenario, would it be more damage to attempt to get a +1 Curse high-roll Astramentis, drop the Doedre's Damning, and use something like the Perandus Signet, or a rare Opal ring? Or would losing the implicit intelligence on Astramentis outweigh the benefits.

You'd probably gain ~80 int (based on my char) so yes, it's a win. That's not a low-cost scenario, though.
So Astramentis is mainly for the intelligence, I gathered? How much strength is needed from the amulet slot using the "regular gear" in the other slots (Pyre, Doedres, WI, Black sun crest).

Sometimes I get temppted to buy myself a nice little 100ish intelligence amulet with some res mods so I can replace my awful boots and stuff, but Im guessing the lack of strength will be an issue for Warlord's mark. Is there a point where WL is still efficient, although have a much lower level (I can get it to 20 % quality along with Blasphemy as well).
