When Chris says that lab haters are a minority, how right is he?

Lab is the final straw for many of us.

Ascendancy was a mistake.

Ascendancy was the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Its just that labs are shit. But can you blame GGG? what would you have preferred? they do the D3 style end game?

Increasing Monster Health? and releasing new items with higher DAMAGE numbers making the previous ones useless?

You guys do realize D3 devs are the most retarded devs in history right? please google D3 news everyday a new D3 dev leaves Blizzard. D3 is crashing on its ass and hard.

Infact Blizzard has abandoned D3 in favor of D4 no more expansion for D3 everyone quit.

I hate the way it is tuned.

The ascendancy is what makes or breaks some builds whether they can do bosses like Atziri. It's a crucial part of a character's build because the bonuses are just THAT good.

And yet it is tuned in accordance to the builds that can cheese Atziri and uber Atziri without a single ascendancy point invested.

The overtuned lab should only apply for the end game difficulty if you ask me. Until then, it's "hate" for me.

I'm all for overtuned content and stuff. But why connect character progression to it? Even if we ignore the average joe, sometimes you just don't want to play the flavor of the league skills.

Also, PoE's endgame is not that different from D3's. Farming either Grifts or Maps, both work the same. In both games you stick to lower difficulties because it is more rewarding than playing on the highest level possible. Yeah, really different. Not.

Both D3 and D3 RoS sold really good. Several thousand players are having fun with each new season. While it doesnt live up to its predecessor, D3 is alright for what it is. An slightly above average H&S.

This is not an fact, these are simply rumors. While we know that they were hiring people for a new project in the Diablo Universe, we do not know if it will be Diablo 4 or some other game.

No matter what you say the bottom line is D3 is a console game it was created for the Madden 2016 crowd if thats your style then be my guest.

Your logic about a game sells most copies hence make it superior to another game is a very much dog shit logic. Because we all know Justin Bieber has like the best music nowadays or twilight is like the best movie ever.

Thats like saying Overwatch is better than Arma 3 because it sold more copies, sorry I will stick to Arma a game that takes skills and have real life military simulation. If I want to watch tracer's ass I will just google a pic.

Anytime a PC game makes transition to console you immediately notice it becomes 100% dog shit.

I feel you are nailing an issue that has been bugging me since first doing labs. I was so hyped for it, but played enough to know it was just 'off' somehow. You managed to help me understand why it felt off.

Even in D3, getting the GG stuff takes a while. Sure, you get stuff that lets you run T10 / G60+ real fast. So what? PoE is not different. Once you hit Merc A4, you grind some Dried Lake, overlevel the Merc lab and after that it is really easy. Especially with trading, getting the items for your build is even easier in this game.

I never said it is superior. I never said it is better just because it sold more copies. What I said was that the game actually did good despite people like you claiming the opposite. And to be honest, it still does good today. At the start of a season there are plenty people to play with and then after a few weeks it falls off. Again, PoE is not different in that aspect.

it has no inbetweens , you cheese it or get cheesed and anyone tht claims asccandy points are optional is a fool or simply trolling.

I agree. It detracts from everything PoE has otherwise, skill tree inclusive. They should rework the ascendancy classes into main tree keystones and render lab completely optional for the people who actually feel like doing it. As-is, Ascendancy was a disaster area and still is.
