Hope GGG will take note of the number of SSF votes they got and do something about that.

Also don't forget that during Raiz's SSF league (that had no rewards, no publicity from GGG, no insurance that people didn't cheat, and because of those reasons weaker competition) PoE was killing it on twitch with 5k+ viewers every day since every PoE streamer was going hard at it (plus it attracted some popular D3 streamers as well). Imagine how popular it would be with GGG supporting it with rewards/promotion, the guarantee that there are no cheaters, the harder competition that results from having higher population. It would be huge for PoE.
Please SSF haters face the facts: The SSF ladder race is much more interesting than the trading one. It attracts more streamers, more viewers, more competitive players. We aren't asking for GGG to replace the trading leagues with SSF ones. We just want some 1-2 week SSF events (with rewards) every few months to quench our thirst.
This is another missed opportunity by GGG.
I'm asking them to have SSF leagues that are comparable to trading leagues, particularly in duration.

@all those people crying.
If you need someone to make you play ssf you are the problem.
If you don't care about mtx prizes but bitch about it on the forums you are the problem.
If you can't make a mf toon that crushes content and makes loot rain like candy then you can always follow a guide. Hec I made over 300 ex last flashback league and didnt run a single map. NO I'm not a trader/flipper; I just converted alts/chromes to chaos and chaos to ex and used the chaos recipe.
And for the record I played a flame totem build. :D
You don't trade or flip yet you converted alts, chromes and chaos up to 300ex during a one month flashback, through the chaos recipe???
Let's ignore that it's impossible to convert chaos to exalted without trading...
Assuming the conversion is 40c = 1ex (erring on the low side):
300 * 40 = 12000
...so let's assume you found 30c a day just from playing (which is a bit on the high side, I think)
30c * 30 days = 900 found chaos
12000 - 900 - 11100
11100 / 30 days = 370
...meaning you're running the chaos recipe 370 times per day (you don't run maps, so no double chaos recipe)
370 / 16 (hours played in a day) = 23.13 times per hour
...so at a minimum, you're running the chaos recipe about once every 3 minutes -- if you play 16 hours a day, every day, for the entire league.
Yeah...I should take anything you say seriously.
I'm confused. What's the double chaos recipe he can't do because he's not in maps? Now you've got me freaked out that somehow I'm missing out on 50% of the chaos I could be generating in maps.
You can definitely do the 2-chaos recipe (complete unid set) outside of maps.

Or triple chaos with UNID set + 20% Quality :D
Kick Ass and Chew Bubblegum - That's nature for you.

Why argue over ssf that much? It's just a 2 week challenge league not permanent.
because the (vocal) majority here seems to fear that it comes to light how bad they are without the traded BiS gear... and the other half is against it because they cant make any profit without trading ^^

Anyway, please don't do flashback again next time
those 'species' with the dollar signs in there eyes will always vote for it, for the chance of getting expensive legacy items from the 'lost' mods - and it doesnt really seem that GGG has 'better' ideas actually, so I wont really hope for giving up this 'option' :-/

To clarify as most people seem to be unaware of a couple of things.
I said I'm not a trader/flipper not that I don't trade. He assumes I do the id chaos recipe, ignores exalt drops and bases his math solely on chaos to ex conversion.
Also he is unaware that minimum ilvl for chaos recipe is 60 not 68 and tries to scare anyone that might want to disagree with him by using a corrupt train of thought that only suits the point he tries to make.
Getting 300 ex in 1 month with various mods on enhancing drops in any area outside of maps above lvl 60 is doable.
It just takes time and a fast clearing build.
Its tedious repetitive and unfun for most but I like my shinies.

You're right. I had a brain hiccup. It's still ridiculous though, as even doing the double chaos recipe would result in a best chase scenario of running the chaos recipe more than once every six minutes, sixteen hours a day, for thirty days straight. I used to run the double chaos recipe all the time to generate currency and I never could find enough rings/amulets/belts on a reliable enough basis even to come close to that rate. That doesn't mean it's impossible (though I suspect it is), but I definitely question the original poster's advocating the chaos recipe as a fast track toward generating hundreds of exalts. In any case, the whole scenario is so unlikely...and tediously boring...I don't believe anyone would actually attempt it.
