Maybe a bit offtopic.. but how can we kill the wasteland map boss with this build if we cant out dps his reg? Tried to kite him with warchief but no luck there. I guess he is just a melee nightmare in general.
Regards

The delay in the aftershock and its radius means you can keep kiting him at a safe distance and chipping away his health as he lumbers around. He hits hard and his desecrated ground saps your health, but just avoid them. The trick is timing and making use of the stick and move game play. He's not easy (was stealth buffed a bit around 2.20) but totally doable. The immense damage of EQ and the delay in generating aftershocks are your key to success.

just edited the same theory at the exact same time you posted! but I am looking forward to my next fight with him
The trick to Map Voll is either get more dps or use Frost Bomb. Throw down your Warchief Totem and pop all your dps flasks (Lion's Roar, Atziri's Promise, Sulphur Flask, Vinktar's if you have it). I can kill him in a few seconds, but before I was geared up I had to swap in a Frost Bomb gem which lowers his regen.

I wouldn't use ID as that will absolutely destroy your DPS. I'd go the other route and try to eek out more than you have any way possible (flasks, swapping gear, etc.). You don't want to spend 1 hour trying to take him down :p

But he is notably harder now for melee than he was. First time I ran into him with my under powered EQ build, I got destroyed. Just swapped over to my WI Scion and melted him in seconds lol.

2 questions

1. the gem "Bloodlust", does the voidheart ability still work with this gem?

2. What are u doing against bleeding? Cant see any ability or flask that stop bleeding.

TY in advance, :)
Btw.....this is I think the most OP build this season....TY for this. :)

Solved even Mercless Lab with my LVL 67 char without problems. :D

think I could go even ueber Izaro with LVL 67, bcs Mercless Izaro was so easy.

With my 82 COC BR/BF still hanging @ mercless lab....what a difference. :D

Your EQ will not apply a bleed with Bloodlust support linked to EQ, but your Warchief will apply a bleed. I tested Bloodlust vs Rapid Decay for single target, and on a target that is stationary and immune to knockback (Atziri, maybe Malachai?) Bloodlust does more damage. If, however, the target is moving, Rapid Decay is much more damage. I am personally going to stick with Rapid Decay for my single target 6th link, but Bloodlust is certainly viable if you wish to use it.

As for bleeding, most bleeds don't do much damage to us due to high physical resistance from charges, but against enemies that do a large bleed (Atziri cyclone guy) I just wear the new unique boots Death's Door, which makes me immune to bleed.
Build looks super sweet. I've been wanting to play a melee build for the first time so I'm going to struggle a bit early on it seems. In terms of gauging damage, I think I will initially obtain a well-rolled 5L Marohi and go from there. With good supporting items (Voidheart, Ming's, potentially a Rustic or Physical Doryani), will this be serviceable as a starting point in Uber Lab?

Yes, uber lab is very easy for this build. You can get full endurance charges from the new trap font things in uber lab, which makes the traps much less dangerous. If you want to play it safe, you can bring a Wall of Brambles and Kaom's Way rings to equip in trap-heavy sections of the lab. Izaro himself isn't dangerous unless he has a lot of elemental damage from phase gimmicks or darkshrines, but those are manageable by just skipping them until you are have good gear and levels. Its not difficult to get a 6-7 second Immortal Call on your cwdt, which combined with high life regen really negates most of the threats in lab.
Just got the Kaom's Heart today. It's a huge upgrade from the Belly. Got an extra 1k life.

Also, a small tip for anyone struggling in lab runs without any enemies/towers around to get endurance charges: bring a "the writhing jar" flask. Spawns 2 enemy worms on use which you can get ur charges from when nothing else is around.

That's a cool piece of tech ^

Lot of uses for that flask it seems. Smooth leveling so far, almost to 47 to grab Voidheart and more transition gear.

EQ mechanics are a little weird for me initially (thought you could target the ground without Shift + Click) so need time to adjust. Looks like the cost of EQ is rather low, but will this build need mana sustain late?
