The Dancing Dervish - An Insight into the Design Process

so while rampage is active, the sword becomes an animated sword..
snapshot anyone =D?
Don't forget to give it an accessible Divination Card so it can be actively pursued by people that want to build around it but don't like trading.
People who don't like the Labyrinth are not a minority: Be heard - say you don't like it in your signature. Don't leave complaining about lab to others - GGG needs to see how many people dislike it. Ascendancy must be gated on true ARPG content, not a poorly-crafted internet Legend of Zelda wannabe.
This looks like fun to watch/play. Might get me to roll a melee if it's not too hard to obtain.
In my wildest dreams, I can imagine several DIFFERENT builds that could use this. hopefully at least one or two pans out. (please result in new viable build!)
I was so hyped for this sword and then.... Rampage.

PoE is NOT freaking Call of Duty, Rampage was an horrible mechanism. At least make the sword stay until it die not when rampage end.

Rhys, you mention Doyani's fist

You guys at GGG realize and show how shit this unique is by the limitations you give it

why keep it that way if you know it?

give it WED supportability once and for all

Facebreaker and Doryani's fist are weapons worn as gloves.. that it
ZiggyD is the Labyrinth of streamers, some like it, some dont, but GGG will make sure to push it down ur throat to make you like it
Another one to sit in the stash its a freeking great idea but the way it was played was bad and gates behind way to much to be end game viable and don't even attempt atzubi!
You all even know what a dervish is?

THe easiest way I can see playing this is to run it on an assassin in standard league due to Rigwald's Curse being only available in that league, though you could try it on a temp league the crit rate probably drops to somewhat unstable levels. You socket the sword for it's snapshot. Socket you torso with an AOE skill that can be run both with a sword or unarmed I'd use ice crash as I absolutely abhor cyclone's clunky movement. Then scale the damage up using crit/crit multi/aoe/aoe damage/frenzy charges/power charges.

Using 7 Power Charges, Assassin's Mark on Blasphemy and the right gear you should end up with aorund 60-70% crit rate.

Get rampage and proceed to ground pound/spin punch everything to death.

TLDR

*Use Assassin (in standard preferably for Rigwald's Curse but temp league works too)
*Use Crit/AOE/and Charges (power & frenzy) to scale damage
*Socket the weapon for it's snapshot but otherwise ignore it, it's there to distract deal some damage and provide the onslaught buff

Ice Crash/Cyclone - Melee Physical Damage - Increased AoE/Concentrated Effect - Increased Critical Strikes - Increased Critical Damage - Added Fire Damage
