[2.3] Burning Arrow Elementalist || Insane Clear Speed, Solid Defenses and Budget (Atziri Viable)

I'm not sure I can really see doing this build as another class. You lose out on the free elemental proliferation and end up having to put a prolif gem in your link. That's a huge damage hit.

The conflux nerf hits non-crit burning proliferation builds harder than any other kind of build, because we relied on the chance to ignite.

That said, burning arrow has 20% chance to ignite, the hat enchant gives 30%, and the tree gives 13%. That's 63% chance to ignite when you're in the 8s out of ever 14s when you don't burning conflux.

It makes the hat enchant basically mandatory though. Alternately you can do a crit version of the build.

Anyone tried the build in 2.4? Does it still work like before or is it pure trash now after the conflux nerf? I would love to try it but I'm not sure if it's still worth it.

also another question, is there any reason for taking the aoe nodes on your tree?

Yeah tree is good. AoE is for the proliferation AoE.

This build should still work in 2.4 since we have some good ignite chance.

In terms of gear, everything should be the same.

I rolled the build and using a Lioneyes Glare atm. I tried out a 275pdps Reach bow from a friend and my tooltip was almost the same but the top end fire damage was about 6k higher. So do u guys think it's still worth upgrading the bow?

Yeah go for Reach, Attack speed is not that important for this build.

haven't done uber lab yet, but the rest of the points would be taken as jewel slot, also as OP said I'd also recommend mantra of flames jewel for huge damage boost.

6.4k life at 85, probably will get 6.8 or more at level 90 with jewels

around 49k tooltip dps with full buffs (fire and stone golem, anger, HoA, conflux, blood rage, 6 frenzy, and onslaught flask)


I could also toss in low lvl clarity so it's another buff that I can get another damage from mantra of flames but I prefer my frenzy curseonhit setup since socket is a bit lacking.
Overall thanks OP for the build, it has been really enjoyable and comfy to play.

Do you think going CI with soulquiver would inscrease survivability with this build?
