[2.3] Burning Arrow Elementalist || Insane Clear Speed, Solid Defenses and Budget (Atziri Viable)

1. Without duelist leech and vaal pact how u survive?
2. You take too many fire,elemental and burning node, but ur damage, with a physical bow, scale with physical nodes and, the burning damage, scale with single hit damage, so, for me, Lioneye's Glare is not a good choice becaus it's dps is a big part from attack speed. Sorry for my bad eng xD

Seems like you traded 3-4k life for a very small DPS increase, That really isnt worth it imo, especially since this build clears just fine already.

As to your questions, your survival comes from several factors. First of all a high life pool (7-8K), paragon (50% less reflect dmg), conflux chill + dyadian dawn for leech and high life regen (3% from blood dance and 210 life/sec from stone golem (3% at 7k life)) with a large part of ur dmg being non-reflectable (burn). You could even swap in a Sibyl's Lament and faceroll reflect maps.

In 2.3 i'd personally swap Lioneye's Glare for a Reach of the Council, for obvious reasons. With burning arrow and avatar of fire you deal 100% fire damage, no phys dmg at all. Scaling fire over phys has the advantage of increasing the initial hit AND the ignite. Lets say you deal 100 weapon damage, with 100% phys damage only your initial hit would be scaled up, meaning you would do 200 damage on the initial hit and 40 fire damage per second (since ignite deals 20% dmg of the initial hit per second) With 100% increased fire damage you would deal 200 dmg on the initial hit, and 80 ignite damage per second, because the ignite damage ALSO gets scaled with fire damage, it double dips

Yes, i know, if u buff fire damage u buff also the burning, but, the fire damage of burning arrow depend from physical damage, so u can take all fire damage % from tree, but need physical to scale more.. burning arrow has not a flat fire damage, is based on PHYS!
And u talk about "small dps increase", i hit 170k with charge (only 3 power and 3 frenzy) and promise flask, so how u can say "small increase"? :/
Ah, he use also herald of ash, so stupid thing; it's not possible apply multiple burn without Emberwake ring so, when the herald work, it burn enemy with overkill damage and not with the fire damage of arrow, and with this little dps, the overkill damage is low.
About hp yes, 4.3 is low.. but u can't compare dps.. P.S. same to me i can do relfect maps with purity at 23 and flask up no risk. In this thread he can do reflect map cuz his arrows has low dps, ez.

I believe i saw about 100kish dps in your video, but i kinda forgot about charges.... that's about the same as people have been able to push here with charges. You also seem to forget that with 100% fire conversion that fire nodes do the same amount for your damage as phys nodes since those are additive, but with fire having the benefit of also buffing ignite damage

And this is why it is called "double dipping."

You scale the initial hit up with fire/ele/proj damage. You don't need %physical to "scale more." %physical doesn't scale more, it scales less. 10% fire is strictly, unambiguously better than 10% physical. Both will scale your initial hit up the same amount, but 10% fire will also scale your ignite up.

That said, sometimes you can get %physical bonuses in higher numbers than ele/fire/proj bonuses, so it isn't unreasonable to expect a physical focused build to have a bit more front-end damage - at the cost of a lot less burn damage. Not a good trade. You make yourself more vulnerable to reflect, while reducing your overall damage output, just to get a bigger number on your char sheet.

Yes. I just got one of these bows last night. If using Lioneyes though, your chance to hit is going to suck until you get some accuracy or get Resolute Technique. I'm trying a version of the build that gets crit so that wasn't an option for me. My chance to hit went from 100% down to 84%. I even tried sticking an Accuracy gem in where GMP was and it didn't help much. It surprised me since I use Ice Golem as one of my golems which I think gives double accuracy buff from the Liege of the Primordal node amd the build has at least 212 Dex. Next level I get the Precision node by Templar which should help with that a lot.

i am using hitmans build of burning arrow and in my hideout WITHOUT flasks and NO charges i am at 102,889.1 with charges and flasks i am at like 186k dps but i am using the Mantra of flames jewel that ads 12 fire dmg to attacks per buff and i got like with charges and flasks and golems like 15 buffs

Can you unhide your character? I'm curious about how you made your build. Does each charge count as a buff or is it like 1 buff no matter how many say endurance charges you have? I assumed each type of charge only counted as one buff regardless of how many you had.
