The Goddess Unleashed
K, cute riddle, annoyed the hell out of anyone who cared to try it.
In the end... the whole line of Goddess swords is well... expensive and worthless at the same time. With the current meta, who the hell is using swords, let alone super expensive unique swords that don't do anything? |

pretty cool, all the puzzels and stuff, but thats a very high cost for a very mediocer sword, the lvl 28 sword is nearly just as good

Wow, some negative stuff in this thread. Give the guy a break, huh? I agree, however, that the recipe is too expensive for a leveling item.

" This makes me happy. Like I said before I really want to like this sword, but it tries to be too many things at once and I think people are just confused really. Is it meant to be end game as the price suggests, or a leveling sword like previously stated, or a build enabling sword, or.... The post by GGG stating this is a "powerful sword" I think just added to the fire. It is objectively not powerful compared to what we have currently..which is fine. But telling us its powerful and having insane cost to make will stir up a lot of negative comments as seen. Making the cost less, or buffing the item in some way or making it build enabling would be awesome. Love the idea of hidden recipes like this and want to see it continue. IGN: HotnessEverspleen

" You can just say 'Freemason'. It would be grammatically correct. Saved

" You do realize this was a player-made unique correct? It was never even supposed to be a GG weapon. It's SUPPOSED to be unfair to discover the recipe, unfair to acquire the components, and unfair to use (self-degen, underwhelming dps). Wraeclast is an UNFAIR place, that's kinda the point. Some things are just there for the bragging rights, not for Etup and Havoc to race to 100 with. The entire series of weapons was simply a way for the community to have fun as a group and for a lover of PoE to contribute to its development, not for entitled brats to speed clear gorge maps. I do agree with the voice acting thing though. |

" Story of my life :D Thanks for the honorable mention Rhys! Fun aside, I had a really great time putting thoughts into your riddle. You've done a very great job imho. I'm a little sad that I never got into testing my theories myself as I struggeled to afford a 6L Exquisite Blade. I kinda hope that you'll release your sword with a riddle aswell :) Last edited by kahzin#4293 on Apr 15, 2016, 9:11:39 PM

Man, so much heat ...
Somebody give this sword to mathil already. And then let's see and wait IF this sword is not able to get some shit going ;) It is pretty painful to see a thing like this being attacked so viciously. I don't get it. Don't care if it is strong or not. Anyways. Love the fluff and the effort Charan. Mistakes were made, but not by you, i fear :/ The Sirus fight is a disgrace.

The majority of people who posted here to criticize the weapon are completely missing the point of player-created uniques. The fact that GGG has a system in place for ANY one of its community members to contribute and impart their desires into the game in the form of a useable item is, in my opinion, beyond the standard set by any other game developer out there.
So it isn't min-maxed for a particular playstyle? ... I didn't realize that was a prerequisite to create a weapon. So it's expensive for a leveling item? Fine. It was expensive for him to add into the game, too. So it doesn't fit into any aspect of your self-entitled view of what an item should or should not be? Does it matter? He left an impression on PoE, the way he wanted to, and regardless of your complaints, that's a really unique (no pun intended) aspect of this game, its players, and the devs. "Accountability is the perfect counter-weight to ambition." -Dominus, High Templar
