If only creating a new character wouldn't take so long

I would do it and not get burned out playing PoE. Currently in the almost quitting phase, a new character would definitely get me hooked for a while again.

BUT I will have to go through act 1, act 2, act 3 and act 4 again three times! If only this process would be easier after you've finished everything once before in a league with one character...

I think I'm not the only one going through this phase?

Second alt.

I always ask a friend to boost Dom through to end of A4.

I don't mind A1 - Piety as it always seems to go quite quickly.

Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

You are not alone. Lot of people try to defend those points:

1/ Reroll should be really fast till early endgame. Rerolling is knowledges / build diversity / important impact on economy / more appealing for anyone

2/ Reroll should stay as it is but without having to repeat the same content in these difficulty

3/ Don't touch the game

Personaly i will keep defending number 1.
Now the fact is after few years on PoE i still enjoy it really but let's make it clear even with all this theory crafting / item hunt / mechanics diversity the story x3 for early game and endless mapping as endgame without much goals ( except the one you are fixing yourself ) make path of exile really exhausting instead of interesting after some time on it ^^ With all the kicks leveling took in face since act4 has been released ( not even talking of lab + 18 trials ) the impact on rerolling is ... kinda terrible.

Fortunately GGG don't ignore community feedbacks even if they stay silent they always ( nearly ) make a move when no one expect anything anymore ( like it happened for trade stash tabs or lockstep mode ;) ).

More like: I'd want to check a build, but I need to reach 65+ first (item reqs.), which means slogging through the same exact linear quest-line, that I've gone through hundreds of times already.

3X same linear questline per char is such an outdated design...

I've piled up a bunch of gear and have 2 - 3 build ideas, but almost zero motivation to start over. Act1 & 2 are ok-ish, but Act3 and esp. the second part of Act4 is so boring. If I could level my chars just by playing maps from lvl 1, that would be great. Adventure mode, pls.

I feel the exact same about the acts, 1 & 2 are doable, but 3 and especially 4 are a drag.
Some kinda mapping mode that lets you level faster up to lets say 60 and from there on just the normal leveling curve would be a great solution for me.

I think this would keep the playerbase up alot more towards the end of leagues without much of a negative effect?
I think it only seems a slog at first but once your getting through cruel you start to see light at the end of the tunnel plus you get to experience upgrading of your build. The dull times actually enhance the exciting parts.

People who did a hard days work look forward to going home but when your out of work you loose that feeling. There are no peaks without valleys.

Some kind of alternative leveling method would be cool. If it wasn't for my new characters in perandus league, I'd be still waiting for the passive tree reset every time I want to try out a new build.

I know what you mean, I to whenever i make a new character end up just staring at the empty name box for hours till I eventually come up with something.

This could be fairly easily implemented by a new hideout 'Adventure Mode Map Device' (very QoL, ease of use, no P2W advantage as you can use normal zones, sell it to us for 100-250 points for sure).

Have the Adventure Mode Map Device create any map you drop into it to be the same level as the toon that dropped it in.

You are on your new build at level 34? Drop in a 68 Crypt and have it open as a 34 Crypt.
