You can look into item bases and highlight them based on required level. Higher required level usually means better bases. There are some bases like Astral Plates and Hubris Circlets that are generally good because they are top-tier bases. If you get your hands on those with high item level then those are good for crafting.
You can separate flasks based on quality, same with gems. You can add Divination card categories based on which of them are good and rare drops. You can separate maps into tiers. :)

I think it would be great if we experienced filter creators could generate together a "best practices" list for those who want to make their own.
