So, after a few changes in 2.4, how much was this build nerfed, or is it still like before?

I'm gonna run it in EHC, buget is about 1100 chaos, so i guess i'll get all what i need

I'm on EHC myself, started with almost this identical build (life based, following OPs guide) and am just about to hit level 90 today. It's a strong build, I have about 6k life, 800 ES and 1700 mana (using MoM as well) and with all of the flasks and everything am incredibly tanky. That said, the pure ES/CI builds are achieving 10-12k+ ES and are able to fit in more offensive flasks compared to the life version which is pretty much stuck running a life flask (else not much reason to really run life at all).

I will admit that once or twice this league the life flask has saved me from certain death, with all of the reduced-flask-charges-used mods and Ascendancy efficiency nodes I'm able to spam the hell out of that instant health flask 5 or 6 times before its empty, but even so I have to wonder if I would have been in those dangerous spots and near death if I had been ES/CI to begin with.

I'm sort of wishing I was CI at this point, as I said with my hp/es/mana I'm at around 8500 effective life, which is by no means bad, and I feel quite safe most of the time even in tier 12-14 maps, but having 12k+ ES would feel a lot better since one of this builds core functions is the ability to replenish all of its life/ES through Vinktar/Warlords leeching and having a bigger effective life pool just makes the most sense with that in mind.

Personally I'd take the 1100 chaos you have and focus on a different BV Pathfinder tree that transitions into CI later on; I might make the switch myself but it would cost about ~70 regrets to fix everything and I'd need to get almost entirely new gear, and I'm not quite prepared to do that just yet.

You should try out blade vortex and you will understand how the stacks are generated. But to save you time, you have to USE the skill and it will generate one stack per cast (2 if you're using spell echo).

Yes, I kow that, but when I watched his videos, it looked like he was generating them automatically somehow. But now I'm beginning to think that he's actually doing it manually, but that his attack speed is so fast it's barely noticable.

Thanks.
Could someone give me advice on my build/items please?

I'm not doing too hot in T10+ maps with high damage mods and such.

I'm also struggling with running out of mana pretty often, perhaps I'm casting BV too often.

I have about 400C to spend on upgrades, just not sure what is needed most at this point.

Thanks,

You should never run out of mana with this particular build. I mean if you're running MoM and stacking some mana you'll have upwards of ~1500+ mana by the time you're near level 90, you should have 50-70 mana/sec regen just from picking up all the nodes while leveling, and the small amount you get from Clear Mind jewel (which you should be using with Essence Worm + Hatred)

Then you're also running a secondary BV in a 4L to apply your Warlords Mark curse (BV+Curse on Hit+Warlords Mark+Power Charge on Crit is what most people use here), with this secondary BV you only cast it once every ~10 seconds or so, and then spam your stronger 5-6L BV to deal damage, and then just periodically refresh the Warlords Mark BV once in awhile. Warlords Mark gives you 2% Mana and 2% Life Leech which is the main point of running it and should eliminate any possibility of mana problems in combat.

Also you use a lot less mana if you use Spell Echo instead of Faster Casting.

400 chaos should be enough (i play EHC tho) to buy the items you need for T10+ Maps. Im lvl 84 at and doing well in T9 T10 maps.

I didnt use Essence Worm and Vinktar untill i had my 5l ready. My order of buying was the following:

1. Rumis (cause you dont need any other item to make it work tbh)
2. Essence Worm (if you dont have Vinktar you might still want to use Blasphemy since the Curse on Hit BV aint so effective as the Vinktar Leeh)
3. Vinktar (any version if you are getting a 5l, if you get the cheap version you will need to use Phys to Light for the leech and then you can drop out the Blasphemy set up and use Curse on Hit)
4. 5l Carcass (or white)
5. Rare Dagger (got a 163% crit chance with 71% spell damage for 35 chaos, Divinarius has 90% crit chance and less spell damage and was around 45 chaos)

I should now aim for Taste of Hate and a 6l Carcass

Also get a BV lvl 20 its pretty cheap and dont forget the Unique Jewel that gives u 40-60% spell damage when no mana is reserverd.

Anyways here is my gear and as ive said i have no problems playing T10 maps.

Spoiler

From looking at your profile you're using a lightning penetration vinktar flask with no lightning damage. You should probably replace your added fire gem with phys to lightning gem or just buy a phys to lightning vinktar. Doing one of the changes mentioned above should help a lot.
Hi,
I think my build is in good shape right now, my next goals are better jewels (with some life and damage instead of elemental res and damage) and a 6L carcass.
I was wondering if you think I can take bigger bosses such as T15 maps and the four guardians or if I should keep farming till I complete my build.

Also, any advice on what I should change/improve is more than welcome due to the fact that I got back after many years to this game so I don't really know it too well anymore

Would you guys recommend using Added Chaos Damage for the 6th gem slot? In Softcore. I thought of going increased crit.

How come you don't use Blasphemy to spread your curses? I find it a bit clunky to have two Blade Vortex running at the same time, one for curses and the other for damage. Or have I got the wrong end of the stick? :P

Thanks!

OP uses the Jewel that gives 40-60% spell damage, but only when no mana is reserved. Which is why he runs Hatred on the Essence Wurm ring as well.

I'm with you though, as well as a few others. The damage boost from the Jewel may not be worth running blasphemy and WM. Especially for the less veteran players who have a hard time keeping track of all the things you've got to do to keep this build effective

You're both forgetting about MoM. The jewel is just a bonus, the reason i'm not reserving my mana is because every point of mana is also = more hp since i take mind over matter
