Yes, he is supposed to be recent, having fought in Theopolis, but this wouldn't be the first time GGG retcon their lore. This unique brings a lot of questions about the lore, and apparently a lot of plotholes too (how the hell is Merveil so calm after losing her most important possession and the reason of her insanity? Given that this apparently was lost/stolen before you kill her)

I assume it's intended to be taken as fighters in his vein, not literally him.

I'd use that if I could easily make up the huge Dex I get from my current amulet.

I'd also use the skill by itself if that were an option.

It's funny how you continue to guess about warp when it's been already posted on the 3 page. No one reads these days
