buying new features in a "f2p" game is kinda shady

If this is foreshadowing things to come I might be done. Now I have to buy a stash tab for uniques, rares, maps, gems.. all because the baseline one is a mess of a 1998 design? Ya.

i have no problem with this per se and i immediatly bought 1 currency tab for myself, but i could see this becoming a problem when they introduce a map tab and a divination card tab.

suddenly we are talking about spending 22,5$ for something that could be reasonably expected to be a free QoL update.


also i dislike the fact that they launch the sale of those tabs after they announced that perandus league basically is their most played league ever and at the same time they dont include space for the coins that are a distinctive feature of said league.

this for me hints at the fact that they plan to remove cadiro after this league.
if this is actually the case it would be dishonest to use the perandus league popularity to get a few extra sales out of currency tabs by launching them now, while at the same time they know that the namesake feature of the league will be removed from the game soon.

So i bought this tab through the website only to log into the game and my new tab is no where to be found. WTF guys

Good idea, bad implementation. Why only 5000, it should be 9999. Another thing : make proper order and currency placement in line that currency you can upgrade at vendor like scroll of wisdom to fusing line and chance to regret second line. Maybe give client ability to move place and size of each currency? Ofc perandus coins should be included and other future league currency too. Also tab name should be shorter or just able to change personally I just prefer simple and short $$$ or $$.

I would like to point out one important thing.

GGG is monetizing a solution to an artificially created problem. There is nothing stopping them from (at the very least) increasing stack size to 99. With very little effort, higher stack sizes would be possible too.

I personally do not care. 75 points equals essentially 3 stash tabs and I never have more than 3 tabs of currency as I trade them up to Exalts. For me, money-wise it's the same thing.

But like it or not, this IS a slippery slope. This is not a new feature. This is just lifting an artificially created limitation and charging money for it.

Uh no there is no slope. It's exactly the same thing as what is already implemented for monetization. Free players get 4 tabs, and you can pay for more if you want.

By your logic we should be asking why not 10 tabs free?

This new tab fits in perfectly with the current revenue model.
