[HC Assassin] 2.6 Arc Miner build - Fast Clear + Very Low Budget!

So today I had to make something funny with this build (again) :

Holy shit is this strong with buffed arctic breath !
And so funny :)

Tooltip dps: 7700
Mines: 9
Projectiles: 81

End dmg for singletarget with vaal glacial hammer: 624k

[vaal glacial hammer allows shotgunning bosses with AB and does very well]

Everybody can use this with this build I have no skilltree changes.
Try it out ! AB travels soo long you can kill offscreen with it :D

I'm just curious how it looks ;D

May u add video :D?

PS Look at this patch notes:
Frost Walls created by you or your allies are now no longer considered enemies for the purposes of projectile collision detection (your projectiles will not collide with your own Frost Wall). This intentionally fixes the exploit case where a player stacks many Frost Walls around a boss and uses a skill like Piercing Lightning Arrow to trigger an excessive amount of hits.

I'm not sure it would work.

Learned a kinda clunky trick that benefits this build.

Throw 3 traps before a boss or whatever to start with max power charges.
Why have phase run when you have lightning warp?

Wouldn't flame dash be the best option out of both?

Wouldn't Enfeeble or Conductivity be a better curse?

switch out spirit offering for maybe assassin's mark, if I lightning warp away from the mob and it chases me, would that not cancel out Necrovigil corpses anyways?

With your glove link using immortal call and no endurance charge it is just .4 seconds of invulnerable, am i not seeing where you are getting your endurance charge?

Sorry for all the questions, I love the main part of this build and have been heavily investing into it!

That is certainly an inventive solution, and as Gorgoramerex said - it would be nice to see a video of it in action! The main concerns I would have is that 1. relying on vaal glacial hammer means you only have 1 chance to get it done easily, and 2. it requires you to get incredibly close to the boss, might still be fine with decoy though :)

Certainly is a nice work-around to the current blast cascade bug (although you would have to sacrifice a single target setup on weapon swap :/).

I am glad you like the build :) I will answer each of your questions in turn:

We use phase run as part of our CWDT to get an extra burst of speed and phasing to help get out of mobs.

You can use flame dash, but I really dislike it at end game due to the charge limit and short distance travelled. I find lightning warp to be far quicker.

The point of spirit offering is for those really high density packs where you would end up kiting back 2-3 rooms just to clear the pack, its just a QoL gem really. As for assassin's mark, its up to you which curse you want to run. I would recommend sticking with a defensive curse.

We also link increased duration and CWDT to it, which boosts the duration to ~0.6 seconds (we do not use endurance charges). This is a pretty big survivability boost for those sudden spikes of physical damage - don't underestimate it!
I tried Assassins Mark for a while, can´t seem to generate more Charges that way.
Even running into Huge packs to make sure the mobs i kill are actually cursed did not result in more than max 1 Charge.
this sire of shards thing is just for fun I think.
Played yesterday and the gameplay is really risky.
also it lacks dmg compared to arc.

Think I was bit to hyped of the optic it offers lol :D

For example Cemetry bosses (that three skeleton things)
I rushed into the room, aiming for two of those brittle guys and I was thinking
"oh hell yeah I will oneshot you all" cast my vaal glacial hammer lay 9 mines and..
I was dead.

But there a few things that are nice: whole screen is iced, offscreen dmg,
shotgun effect, big aoe..

If one use his tremor rod with gmp and Arctic breath would result in..

5 projectiles 9 mines= 45 AB´s x2 from tremor double detonate= 90 projectiles

90x7700= 693k singletarget dmg and NO nova effect that means alot of those skulls will hit the same target, and no need to use vaal glacial hammer. sadly I cant use this myself I cant manage to 5l my damn rod..

Edit: This is not my own idea with vaal glacial hammer. I read about it in the forums, an old guide with sire and AB. If anybody is interested in some footage theres another build with this setup called "nuclear winter" in the forum or youtube

Rarity: Rare
Hello,First I wanna say I really enjoyed your guide and since this was my first character ever in POE and im easily clearing t13-14 without deaths atm just running and oneshotting mobs you have done a great job. Its also surprisingly cheap - I managed to snag this chest for 20c only and it seems like its perfect for this build, whereas other builds required 6L chests that cost 3-4 ex atleast. I also got a 59/59 tremor rod for 2c and 5Linked it myself with under 20 fuses.
Fate Wrap
Occultist's Vestment
--------
Quality: +20% (augmented)
Energy Shield: 540 (augmented)
--------
Requirements:
Level: 69
Str: 148
Int: 180
--------
Sockets: R-B-B-B
--------
Item Level: 77
--------
10% increased Spell Damage
--------
+104 to maximum Life
108% increased Energy Shield
+97 to maximum Energy Shield
+41% to Fire Resistance
+44% to Cold Resistance
+22% to Lightning Resistance

Having said that I just wanna ask you questions about enchants, what im running on my belt is 18% increased mine damage. I see you choose flask recovery rate. Also regarding the helmet - u can get 40% increased arc damage - is arc +2/+3 better than that. I mean if i get the arc increase damage should i still run lab to get the +2 arc?

Thanks
Im leveling up a similar character as Saboteur right now, and I ended up reading your post :)

I'm not sure assassin is so nice since you are doing a lot of small hits (35% less from tremor, 21% less from minefield, but lots of instances of dmg) so you are not very likely to shock big mobs, and only get the 100% more crit chance on the first tick of the first arc (your DPS tooltip is a lie :P)
I guess the base crit chance is nice though, but I'd rather take 2 additionnal mines and mine arming speed since you often end up deleting your own mines (at least with a detonate mine totem setup I do)

Also you should check out the mine detonation radius nodes, they are super helpful (along with the quality on minefield)

I'll let you know if I end up with more conclusions as I finish the character !
Cheers
I´d go with the +chains. As you said, your damage is high enough to kill mobs in 1 hit, so hitting more mobs results in clearspeed. More Damage only gives you an advantage on tough mobs.

How much time do you fight stuff that dies in a single hit, how much time you fight stuff that takes multiple hits?
