GhazzyTV - Essence Drain & Contagion (or Bane/Soulrend) Trickster [SC/HC/Uber Elder/Shaper]

Just found Vaal Righteous Fire, and I'm a bit confused - do I just use it for single target damage boosts or is it supposed to be triggered with Phase Run?

You trigger it yourself whenever you need a damage boost, like an afterburner.

Hi everybody ! I'm thinking of starting the next league with this build. I've played a Bane build before and I really enjoyed it but I'm not a very experienced player. What do you guys think ?

" I played it in 3.8 as SSF (and last week in trade), its a really good starter build!! ED+contagion has not been changed much after the patch note, just some crafting changes. But the Development Manifesto we got this: "A regular map boss now has (...) 25% Chaos resistance (up from 15%). A very strong boss like the Shaper now has (...) 30% Chaos resistance (up from 25%)." So I dont think it changes to much, bosses are harder I guess. The experts here can probably give a better reply. |

" Yes. That's what I'm worried about now. I feel like this league the main focus will be more on killing bosses rather than fast clearing maps..but I guess it might work |

" I have read some more, everyone got increased resistance or armour. So I guess its like this for everyone, either you play elemental, chaos or pysical build. |

I reached level 88 easily with this build before needing to quit due to IRL stuff, going with it again but going Bane/Soulrend for a change..
