Ok quick math:
If the lioneye's bow has 8.5 base crit with 7 power charges: You would need 1017% increased crit chance. If the lioneye's bow has 9 base crit with 8 power charges: You would need 955% increased crit chance. You gain 350% to 400% increased crit chance from power charges. You gain 60% crit chance from rings. You gain 60%+ crit chance from quiver. You gain 30%+ crit chance from amulet. You gain 20% crit chance from CoC gem quality. You gain 330+ crit chance from tree. To sum up, that makes: 850%+ crit chance with 7 power charge budget version. 900%+ crit chance with 8 power charge version. If you can get the remaining 55% increased crit from jewels or a glove like maligaro, you are capped at 95%. Though I should say, playing with 88% or 92% was pretty good since hits can't be evaded contributes a lot. Obviously, the budget version needs 150% crit chance to cap, but I'd rather let it stay at 850 to 900 increased crit chance since anything over 85% chance to crit is more than enough to farm t12 maps. You would just clear in 6 minutes instead of 5 minutes, a 12% slower clear due to the fact that you will fire into some packs 1 more time. Hope that helps. | |
" Of course I counted that. Lioneye's Glare has crit chance of 5%. Power charge adds 0.5 to that. 7 charges give 3.5% so the total base is 8.5. To turn 8.5 into 95 you need to mutliply it by 11.17 which means you need 1017% increased crit chance. Tree gives 330, charges give 350. 337 is missing. If there are 8 power charges, base is now 9%. To make it 95% you need to multiply it by 10.55 which means you need 955% increased crit chance. Tree gives 330, charges give 400. 225 is missing. |

Yo. I had a plan this league. I had a build planned, made spreadsheets for leveling and what to do when and stuff, u know? And then I found this topic, and well, my plans have changed. My only real concern is that it will be meta, and we have to play 100 ex for a random Lioneye's bow. That aside, I have a question, a noob question. I have read all 20 pages of this topic twice, taking notes and shit, cause I really didn't want to bump the topic to make it more meta-likely, and I didn't want to be one of those guys asking a question that has been answered ten times already. Perhaps this has been answered too, but at least I went looking before posting.
TLDR: Here is my noob question: What gems do u use? I know these ones: Cast on Critical Strike Setup Aura setup CWDT setup Mobility and power charge setup from the GEMS section in your first post. That leaves 1 item open. I have seen talks about mirror arrow, bloodrage? and the alternate LA setup for rich people etc, but when i look at your gear u have different gems in different slots, which leave me, a non PhD, confused. I thought perhaps a Vaal Grace could be good, but what do i know. If it's not too much trouble, could you list your current setup? The ones that don't follow the setups under "GEMS" on page one I mean. Anyways. The build looks amazing. U seem to be all-knowing. And I'm sorry for the wall of text. Peace | |

" Yes, some people have made it work until level 90. But you need to check this forum posts in mid-range or do a Google search and find how they did it. Going block with rear guard seemed to help them. Also quill rain at first might be helpful. TRGPUZ The thing is, I use a vaal haste or vaal grace in a cwdt increased duration immortal call. Then I have left the option open in the glove and weapon slots. If you are unlucky and only can grab a +1 to power charges Lioneye's which has no links and only 1 socket, you would have to wait for people to get their vorici to level 8 and then buy a 4 link service and pay 15 vaal orbs, 5 fusing orbs and 10 jewelleries orbs to 4S4L it. Then you can use blink arrow, mirror arrow, faster proj and faster attacks on the bow. That leaves 2 sockets open at the glove, with the other 2 being orb of storms pcoc. If you don't have a bow like that, then you will do blink arrow+faster attacks on the glove. So those are free slots pretty much. Can go creative and use smoke mine if you like to plan ahead for tough encounters for example. Even if this build becomes meta, Lioneye's glare drops so often you will have absolutely no problems. Though quill rains will be expensive in the first 3 days of the league that's for sure. | |
I have to ask a stupid thing...
I know Attack speed works on this build. But does "20% increased Projectile Speed" Works aswell? If so in what manner will it improve? (shorter-Cooldown)? Or just a raw bit of increased attack speed overall? (I mean since reading the spells.
