Anyone know if persistent spectres is a thing in beta now? I am at work, so wont be able to test it out my self before this evening.. and i have seen no feedback on it, so if anyone here in the beta knows, please inform!

I just got to act5 and found the twisted effigy. Seems like it has either a earthquake or sunder attack.

Kitava's herald in cathedral rooftop seem good.
They seem to have three abilities: - An aoe leapslam they do from a decent distance - Some kinda aoe projectile - Cleave |

Kativa's Heralds were definitely great to level with for a bit. Pain in the butt to get after you've completed the boss though.
The Wraiths in A7 crypt do an EK cast that feels fairly good with spell echo. Echo+Faster Proj would maybe make them my new fav if only I could get the EK thresh jewel on to them. :( |

Got My tabula have started trying everything as a spectre
Kitava's heralds prob the most hilarious. but i don't think they will be good enough. 5 things they seem to like to do Ranged Proj vomit>Leap slam with ground fire>Cleave? like ability>standard melee>fly around aimlessly even with enemies/boss ontop of them. You can gmp/echo their proj and it will 1 shot white packs. Seems like a phys proj that isn't slowed by proj speed so slow proj is free damage like knitted horrors. That being said it seems almost worthless to do since they will eventually just leap in. So I started scaling leap, multistrike is hilariously strong when they cooperate. From there I haven't really been 100% on what is working well. MPD/Added Fire/Conc seemed strong. Before I got off I also tried Bloodlust(they supposedly apply a bleed with one of the attacks but honestly can't tell), MDoFL (they seem to almost always be at full life for me), Faster Attacks, iAoE, I found a 20% minion speed, and seeing if splash did anything. Oh and I think spirit offering may be worth it over flesh for them. So basically they can dish out insane dmg but sometimes literally do nothing, for example beach boss they seem to leap in once then just standard melee the whole fight. Where as when testing on spider boss they spammed leap and it was over before it began. I would maybe argue wasting a link on gmp even without echo or any scaling on the proj, purely because it helps with clear. Really though, everything i've messed with has to be compared to ribbons and i don't think anything i've tried beats them atm. New magma orbers were maybe closest at times (but they also really want to melee), ice spear goat men spam nothing but ice spear shame its a mediocre spell, fireballers cast really slow even with echo and fc, spec throw bubblers (something guardians) felt really mediocre on damage and don't like to keep their bubble up in combat, couldn't get storm callers or the light ball throwers to spawn in my maps but in zone i got them they seemed weak, saw blade throwers throw one attack then run into melee for 5-10s then throw another dmg really so-so, sunder mobs don't sunder often enough, couldn't get the weird eq crabs to spawn in map yet. |
