The life regen is very nice. At 5000 HP, stone golem's regen is equal to 2% life regen per sec, which is twice better than any node in the whole tree. The taunt also draws danger away from you.

Good catch. They do currently boost your crit chance permanently - wonder if this is a bug.
but i tot they already fix it on previous patch

2.2.2 Fixed a bug with the "increased Critical Strike Chance if you haven't Crit Recently" Enchantment where it only counted critical strikes done by the main hand weapon.

It's not a bug thats how GGG implemented Totems and Traps. They are separate beings influenced by your stats.

The same reason why life leech linked to those gems applies either to a totem or a trap.

It won't be fixed because there is nothing to fix. I would suggest getting a nice pair of boots with that enchantment because it will be most likely nerfed...

Also to EO, as i probably have the best non-crit trapper build in the game i can reply that "you don't really care about this enchantment while using EO, but its nice to have once the traps get nerfed".

Why its not a must have for non-crits:
- because almost any non crit will most likely use orb of storm linked with increased critical strike chance to have reliable source of ZO.

Why it is NICE to have:
because you can drop ICS for 1 more gem slot - there are too many good to have 1 slot gems currently in the game :/

Here's a version I am going to try. Doesn't stack crit (I don't need to deal 60k dps :P) and picks up more life nodes along with dual curse for Enfeeble+Temp chains blasphemy.

Any suggestions on how I can squeeze clarity in? I calculated my 5 link Icetrap will cost about 150-160m. I think i'll only have about 60 or so mana left after clarity+enfeeble+temp chains. Or do think that 30% unreserved + 80% mana regen is enough to sustain an ice trap without a mana potion? I really don't want to use a mana pot :P

And thats a very good question :D ! If traps dont count as "your" crit but separate being, but your critchance applies to traps. Very important thing to investigate.

Correct and tested. Basically, this enchantment on boots is a *must have* for this build. Permanent 90% increased crit chance is nothing to sneeze at! Boots are currently available for around 15c, so get them before they all get sucked up.



I wouldn't even try to buy those. On average it would take 5-10 runs to get them. 7+% chance is like heaven to earth compared to 0.28% for helmet enchant...

How the hell is that even possible :D ? Optimal 6l costs around 115 mana ??

I am loving this build!!!

Went from phox ice trapper to poison trapper and then i found this build which i am having tons of fun. Though i need 1 thing, any1 has a lvl 100 tree since i am planing of going to 100 with this char
