To the OP, how much mana do you have left after reserving for level 20 clarity, herald of ice and blasphemy? All this without EB/ZO...?

It looks like he uses Blasphemy in his boots and IC/CWDT in his helm.

i dont understand why there is controlled destruction in this build. why bother taking crit nodes?

You could try something like this
CWDT - Immortal - Duration
Blasphemy - TC (Elfeeble) - Vaal Lighting Trap - Portal (or GMP dunno will it work for Blasphemy, but you can always broke links)
AA (Clarity) - HoI - Enlighten or Anger - Enlighten - Portal (more damage less defence)
Stone Golem - FA - Culling - Item rarity

What about going non-crit, take addional curse from tree(or +1 amulet/ring) and mana reservation between witch/templar and using Heretic's Veil, so you can run chains+vulne?
