GGG can make it like a 10-race course that takes about 5 minutes per race, but if you win enough some of them will be cut out, so it will only end up taking 10-20 minutes, depending on how you place. The gameplay works like this: alternate R-click and L-click to make your rhoa run, but not too fast, because you want to keep it in rhythm with your rhoa's feet. If you go too fast, your rhoa gets tired and has to stop to catch his breath! And people can use D and F to change lanes.

Because this changes the core controls of the game.

A better example would be that players race through a series of Circular Maps (Tidal Island, Fetid Pool, etc) while running through beneficial Tempests to gain buffs and dodging hazardous Tempests that debuff you. Buffs and debuffs are persistent and stackable, but one debuff will terminate all of your buffs, and vice versa. At the end of each map is a mini boss to defeat. At the end of X number of maps you fight the main boss. For each debuff on you when you defeat a boss grants a chance for better loot.

Notice that the core mechanics of the game still persist. Movement is not changed, combat is not changed, you are not adding any new key presses. The primary purpose of the game is also still in tact: kill, reward.

Ah, but that would be moving backwards. You are suggesting that GGG incorporate killing monsters into this expansion.

As an earlier poster said, GGG is helping the ARPG evolve. I agree, and am suggesting they take the evolution further: Instead of removing *some* of the monster-killing, they can remove *all* of it.

This should make the game even more fun!
Wash your hands, Exile!
It WAS pretty funny and well written.

Would be more fun than lab. 10/10 would play.
ProbablyGettingNerfed - L100 Occultist
Vinktarded - L100 Pathfinder
GoogleDiversityHire - L100 Necromancer

3.13 was the pinnacle of PoE. IVYS+1 Gang 4 Life.
Another great advantage of this brilliant idea is that we should disable checkpoints and portals during the race. That way softcore players will experience the same adrenaline rush as hardcore players after they have successfully completed the challenge!!! This is extra brilliant because it completely ignores the fact that some softcore players might possibly like playing softcore more than hardcore and we can't have that!!!!
Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!

maybe the race track can be along a river so you can fish while racing?
started well but ruined with the criticisms part.

I agree, those are terrible criticisms.

But it's still necessary to pre-empt them and knock them all down. I think I ripped them to shreds, if I do say so myself.

good satire knows when too much is too much.

But since you replied to me anyway, I'll add another criticism:there were no Nascar races in any arpgs before, but there certainly were labyrinths, traps and gauntlets.
