The Labyrinth can imprison you? Are you serious???
It's intentional. It was a timed crank...
I laughed my ass off when it happened. One of the better experiences in PoE. I wish I wasn't playing on a potato. Dying to a trap because 800x600 windowed makes precise clicking impossible is frustrating. Avert thy gaze, child!

" Floor tile puzzles don't clue you in even remotely as to how to approach them. I experimented by pushing each symbol once, got darted each time. No information, trial and error failed, not wasting my time. There is no warning that a door will lead to Argus. There is no warning that Argus even exists. Opening a door in Labyrinth just might result in getting splattered by an asinine boss. Izaro is opaque as all hell. I have no idea, after three times facing them, how to stop Idols from carrying over. I tried attacking them, I tried not attacking them, I tried clicking on them. I read on the wiki that they don't carry over if their health is below 50% at the end of the fight but that didn't work. Of the mechanics I have encountered so far, none of them actually explain anything. You're expected to just figure it out while a bloated mess of a boss is leap-slam-fireball-spam humping your rear. I'm sorry, but every time I see GGG's supposed "design philosophies" I feel like I'm being trolled, because the game does not follow said philosophies. This is a buff™

" I thought this the first time I ran that Labyrinth, but the second time I worked it out. You are given enough information to solve it. You just weren't paying enough attention if you missed the clues. Sure, I agree you might not like puzzles. But the floor tiles was a puzzle with enough information, and it was definitely solvable. Solution is below in a spoiler.
Floor tiles solution
To open the room into the floor tiles, you need to step on the 3 tiles outside the door in the right order. You probably did this without noticing them!
Once inside, to navigate across the bridge without being darted, you need to step from tile to tile in that same order. Eg, lightning, fire, ice, lightning, fire, ice, lightning, etc... If you mis-step you will be darted, so there is enough info to see if you go wrong as well. Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/657756 Last edited by dudiobugtron#4663 on Mar 10, 2016, 12:46:16 AM

" Indeed. It seems from the 2.2.1 notes that they might be fixing this. I would certainly hope so. EDIT: We really do need more info on what to do to stop a trap. It;s not like Mario Bros. as some people like to say; it's more like Zelda. The thing is, in Zelda games, you can keep trying to solve a puzzle for as long as it takes. You don't have to restart the entire dungeon every time! -VG- Invited to Beta 2012-03-18 / Supporter since 2012-04-08 Last edited by VideoGeemer#0418 on Mar 10, 2016, 1:48:56 AM

" That's what I figured. But the problem is that I stepped on each tile once and was darted every time. Yeah, I did run over the door-opening tiles without realizing it, I didn't think it mattered until I stepped on I guess the third one and opened the door. I assumed that you only needed to hit one, my fault but that's besides the point. The point is that trial and error should have revealed which tile was the first one to step on. Logically, if you get darted, you stepped on the wrong first tile, and whichever one DOESN'T dart you is the first tile. Step on lightning? Darts. Step away from the puzzle and then on fire? Darts. Ice? Darts. There was no way to work out the solution via trial and error, so I gave up because there was no logic behind it. This is a buff™
