[2.6] life Mjolner done right by Rico - Berserker version

So, after a little vacation from forums, i managed to farm to lv93, so i had the chance to run some science with the life mjolner

First of all: i'm afraid i don't have any sort of screenshot, i messed up and forgot to take them. Anyway, this test batch focused on 3 of the 4 shaper guardians.


Auras tested: PoF, PoL, AA, Enfeeble(blasphemy). 27% Average physical mitigation, 5.9k hp, 86/80/86/-20 resistances

First of all: the minotaur. Holy shit, that physical damage is heavy. I completed it deathless in a rare map without additional damage. It can be facetanked without problems until he overlaps 2-3 of his circles of falling rocks. By then, the probability to get hit at the same time by him and a rock gets quite high. Differences between RT and non-RT are extremely slim, the non-rt has surgeon armor flasks for more mitigation, while the rt having an overall easier time due to Iron reflexes*

Second: the Chimera. After getting some info about the cloudy phase, i managed to do it also deathless with vulnerability. Sometimes i dipped to lowlife, but nothing too extreme. It's highly advised to take 2 life pots and 2 Atziri pots to mitigate incoming chaos damage in the cloudy phase and a movement skill to rush in the clouds to force the end of the phase itself. Aside from that, no oneshot mechanic for this build.

Third: the Phoenix. OMG, i did my first one rare and corrupted, with frenzy charges, vulnerability and fire res. Managed to end it using 5 portals. Even without ele weakness and -max res and with ruby flask up, the channeled explosion it does around itself was oneshot for me. That one must be avoided at all costs, but is also quite easy to notice the charging with the new discharge mtx. If you avoid that, deathless run is quite easy, just makesure to bring at least a ruby plus a rumi's concotion, as he spams a lot of fire tornadoes during the fight.

In conclusion: whether it's with added damage or not, theese builds can facetank almost anything and have ranged options for when they cannot afford to get close & personal. Pretty solid choice, even if less tanky than the LL ubertank


* As i stated in different times in a lot older pages, i actually switch between rico RT build and my own personal variation of the non-RT build without IR and with EO to make tests and try to understand them both. Aside from theese differences, the 2 builds share almost the same Equip and Gems, so it's quite easy to notice plus and minus for both
Can this build run over traps in Uber Labyrinth or it dies?

About Phoenix battle, Life Gain on Hit jewel helps a lot!, also, this boss cast "-50% fire res" that´s why is so hard to facetank.

It can resist for a short period of time on the traps. It cannot afk there, but has definitely enough time to step away

Thats sick. Thats 2.7k dmg per projectile vs life version flasked. Thats 2.5k dmg per projectile vs low life version flasked. We are talking 85%/89% max cold resistance flasked with fortify. Basically when hit with more than 1 at once (or in short period of time) = rip for life version. For low life version "comfort zone" is extended to not more than 2 at once...

It will do 2.1k dmg per projectile. Assuming you will achieve more than 6k with Saffels, you have room for 3 hits...

I will probably be able to try a shaper soon... just need chimera to start dropping for me, got lucky yesterday with a few hydra map drops finally (and also a few t14/15s, yay!).
use cwtd molten shell and penetras fire/light have any sense for improved the damage?
