Can this build still face tank Core malachai like it used to?
I don't own a Voll's devotion, instead I could afford a Malachi's Loop shield + Stone of Lazwar amulet.

You have life leech in your Mjolner, no Volls devo, lvl 19 Discharge, so wtf? :)

This build wont work as intendent without Volls Devo and proper Mjolner gem setup: Arc + Discharge + Controlled Destruction.

Some Notes

Izaro´s Big Shot: my life went down to 1.9K (set up nº1) and 1.7K (set up nº2)
Average dmg Uber Izaro: my life went down to 3.2K (set up nº1 & nº2)
Double Flameblast only tested in Set up nº2, my life went down to 1.9K
Average dmg Atziri was similar in both set ups...my life went down to 2.8K
Note: Trio bosses on set up nº2 do it only with Ligh.Strike...my bad....


Conclusion

Well, charges work fine 5/5 but i think not worth it because you waste 2 life nodes and 1 jewel...too risky to play with high maps. Average dmg taken is similar in both set ups...but in second set up my life is lower than set up nº1.

What levels should our cwdt and IC be at? Im currently at 9 and 7. I'd think proccing earlier would he better so lower leveled. More proc would mean more upkeep on phys immune.

Out of curiosity, what would happen if you replaced the life flask with something like a vinktar? It seems like it'd be pretty good, especially if you managed to get your hands on a legacy. Is it not used because it needs more flask charges to be sustained and all?

Well, i think that both of them are good for high/hard maps:

A) If you use AA, put Enfeeble with Blasphemy (can be rippy in HEXPROOF maps)
B) If you use Grace put EW in a CWDT combo

A few minutes ago i did an Unidentified T14 Maze rare map (old one) with AA+Enfeeble, finally was a Double boss+Enfeeble+HEXPROFF xD, all cleared at my level 84.

You need one flask with remove bleeding, one with remove shock, one with remove burning, one with remove chill and chill immunity, one armor flask, one topaz flask, one ruby flask and one movement flask. However chill can be skipped so you might have a room for VoV. However only legacy one makes sense. So the setup might look:

VoV, topaz with remove shock, movement flask with remove bleeding, ruby with remove burning, granite.

So heres what I think as I tested and calculated it before :)

Grace is better vs lots of small to medium psychical hits (goliath spikes, titty bitches, evangelists, Angus and so on)
AA is better vs really hard hits (dominus slam, malachai slam).

Why? Because how armor works, the bigger the hit the lesser it reduces, while AA reduces allways by same ammount.

Grace with Iron Reflex gives 15-20k armor depending on the build. With ours its 15k. Palace Dom does about 9500 pure physical dmg per his Touch of God. This way it is reduced by (according to the armor rules):

(15000)/(15000 + 10*9500) = 13.5%

AA does the same in that situation but takes only 25% mana insteed of 50%

But thats assuming you have 0 armor underneath AA. So Even with just 5-6k armor AA will be better.

Now you need to ask yourself what for do you need that physical mitigation the most? To tank Goliath's spikes? :)

Those can be tanked with just 5-6k armor, cwdt-IC and leech. This is why my build is speced into Iron reflex even if im not using grace -for that 5-6k armor (which can be than supported via granite flask to obtain 10k under AA)

AA also gives fire dmg mitigation.

You are right about AA, now, i´m using a defence build with Life Gain on Hit as 6th link (removing BM) and
I have no problem with mana:-)

Also for an offensive build you can put
but it´s a pain to re-chrom 3G+3R...

What gem would be better for 6th link? (+2 molten strike projectiles...sounds good)

Yup, that's the plan. I was trying to level them naturally but I may just buy some corrupted. I still have <1 day played on the char, so it's definitely a work in progress.
