I have 188% from tree, 10% from belt, 7% from one of jools, for a total of 205% ...

i was playing in full parties people cry that it is laggy build and i cant play with guild members anymore so i will try any other build you made or will look for another.

Could you please explain how the dual discharge mechanic works?

Wouldnt the first discharge gem in the mjolner proc, consuming all charges so that the second gem does no damage?

Or do they proc simultaenously consuming the same charges for double the damage?

To my knowledge: each spell cast chance is rolled separately in your Mjolner from top left to bottom right socket.

So here's what happens with 2x Discharge in your Mjolner:

1. You hit enemy with your melee skill - you gain at least 1 power charge via Romiras if its not a critical strike.
2. At the same time chance to cast each Discharge on hit is rolled, if nothing happens go back to 1, else there are 2 possibilities:

3. Only one of your Discharges is triggered and than:
a) it consumes whatever number of power charges + endurance charges you had.
b) endurance charges are generated via Volls Devotion equal to the numbers of power charges you had BUT because of Unrelenting passive from Juggernaut this number is allways max of your total endurance charges, so no matter how much power charges you had - now you have max endurance charges and at least one power charge (from Discharge hit itself) if your Discharge didnt crit.
c) go back to 1.

4. Both of your Discharges triggers:
a) first one consumes whatever number of power charges + endurance charges you had.
b) endurance charges are generated via Volls Devotion equal to the numbers of power charges you had BUT because of Unrelenting passive from Juggernaut this number is allways max of your total endurance charges, so no matter how much power charges you had - now you have max endurance charges and at least one power charge (from Discharge hit itself) if your Discharge didnt crit.
c) secound Discharge triggers it consumes whatever number of power and endurance charges you had
d) endurance charges are generated via Volls Devotion equal to the numbers of power charges you had BUT because of Unrelenting passive from Juggernaut this number is allways max of your total endurance charges, so no matter how much power charges you had - now you have max endurance charges and at least one power charge (from Discharge hit itself) if your Discharge didnt crit.

So even in the situation when both Discharges are suppose to trigger but the first one crits secound one has at least max endurance charges to blow with.

How does Mjölner with 3 discharges, Juggernaut (Unrelenting), Voll's Devotion, Romira's Banquet (and Resolute Technique/Voll's Protector) work?

Assuming starting from zero charges, and only a single enemy, within discharge range, which never dies (and taking the Resolute Technique option as it's easier to describe)
1) You hit with Mjölner, with a non-critical hit.
2) You gain a power charge.
3) First discharge triggers.
- 3a) Discharge calculates damage, based on your one power charge.
- 3b) Discharge consumes all charges.
- 3c) You lost a power charge, so gain an endurance charge, which is replaced by you gaining your maximum number of endurance charges.
- 3d) Discharge deals damage, hitting the enemy, with a non-critical hit.
- 3e) You gain a power charge.
4) Second discharge triggers.
- 4a) Discharge calculates damage, based on your one power charge and maximum number of endurance charges.
- 4b) Discharge consumes all charges.
- 4c) You lost a power charge, so gain an endurance charge, which is replaced by you gaining your maximum number of endurance charges.
- 4d) Discharge deals damage, hitting the enemy, with a non-critical hit.
- 4e) You gain a power charge.
5) Third discharge triggers.
- 5a-e) Same as the second Discharge.
6) You currently have one power charge, and your maximum number of endurance charges, and have finished your attack.



Now why 2x Discharge is especially good with non-legacy Mjolner:

Average number of Discharge triggers/s with legacy Mjolner with 1 Discharge socketed and Molten Strike is: 0.5 * your total APS * your chance to hit * number of hits. Lets assume that only 2 additional projectiles from Molten Strike will hit the same target, so with this build average number of Discharge triggers will be: 0.5 * 5.6 * 0.93 * 3 = 7.8

Same with non-legacy Mjolner: 0.3 * 5.6 * 0.93 * 3 = 4.7

Now non-legacy Mjolner with 2x Discharge: (0.3 + 0.3) * 5.6 * 0.93 * 3 = 9.3


So non-legacy Mjolner with 2x Discharge procs slightly more often than a legacy one with 1 x Discharge and gives the same feeling as you would have legacy Mjolner.. And you can pretty much assume that each blast (apart from the first one) goes with at least max of your total endurance charges.

Unwavering Stance is pretty much mandatory with most melee builds, especially those that requires constant damage dealing to heal them self up and this is exactly the case with this one. Without it some bosses will stun you even with 5k+ hp pool, breaking your ability to facetank, you will deal no damage when stunned, but more important - you wont heal yourself via endurance charges consumption and you might rip.

Grace provides large amount of builds armor through Iron Reflexes so it can reach 14k region. Theres like 9 endurance charges spinning around and Immortall Call via cwdt BUT there are also moments, especially when running from pack to pack, when you might have 0 charges. There are also moments (very short ones) when facetanking a boss with 0 charges (like at the beginning of the fight). 14k armor on its own provides enough protection for many small phys dmg hits like goaliath spikes, titty bitches barrage attacks, academy boss nados and so on. And even vs big hits (like Dominu light of divinity smash for example) 14k armor provides additional level of reduction alongside endurance charges and fortify. This is especially important as build doesnt have bazilion hp pool.

BTW: kinda weird question from a HC player.

might be a stupid question but does the order of colors on mjolner matter, mine are blue blue red.
