You have 5 jevel sockets with the build - use jevels for stats.

is the volls amulet required for this build? I can use mjoner now but my toon dies a lot seems the discharge triggers too long not like in your video everytime your use shieldcharge keeps on triggering discharge. volls amulet is so expensive atm lowest ive seen so far is 38exalt (1.5 exalt for mjolner is hard enough to farm)

Yes, I'm afraid it is.

why dont u swap controlled destruction for elemental focus and get overload on your passive tree... the burn is not your source of damage and the 2/3 power charges is not enough to shock bosses.. with 8% crit chance on discharge is more than enough to keep up the overload.

anyways great build farming voll's devotion to make something like this on my own.

Ok this is a serious love hate build. I really hated leveling it and getting the required stats to use the gear for it. It's really steep and aggravating being 3 to 8 points away from using Mjolner. But once everything is there I'm loving this build.

I started using everything at level 66 and I'm using a non legacy Mjolner and I also didn't have my last two passive points for Unrelenting. I borrowed my friend legacy Mjolner and he ran me through merciless lab get to my last passive. Wow... what a huge difference it made for this build. It was game changing. Initially I couldn't kill merciless Dominus and after getting those two I was able to kill him easily.

So what's the last ascendancy to choose? Unyielding? What about the best helmet, glove and boots enchants for this build?

Also why have enfeeble linked with CWDT + Immortal call setup?

I didnt find it worthy. Its 3 additional points. Its better to grab AOE nodes from Witch/Templar (which are also dmg increase nodes) and than use Discharge - Controlled Destruction - Fire Penetration in your Mjolner. I'm using it this way and I dont feel any need for more dmg.

I reccomend specing into it around lvl 70 where everything is pretty much set (first 6 ascendancy points included). Its one of those builds where certain fragments of the puzzle must come together before it gets really good. Also, as every Mjolner build, its getting better and better with higher lvls.

For additional protection in end-game. T14-T15 maps with dmg modes.

I must say, shield charge really is fun with this build.

1) Great build. Enjoying it currently.

2) Have you considered Ancestral Protector? Its 20% MORE speed is nice. For me it's from 5.43 APS to 6.54 APS.

3) So which setup is superior for bosses? On paper:
a) Fire Pen + Disc + Contr. Destr = 44% more spell dmg, but less crit,
b) Fire Pen + Disc + Elem Focus = 49% more spell power, but no ailment status (seems minor, I use VoV for bosses anyway),
c) Fire Pen + Disc + Conc Effect = 59% more (area) spell power, no drawback (for bosses),
d) Fire Pen + Disc + Disc = 100% more damage, with no drawback(?)

So option d) should be superior, but is it the same in reality as on paper?

So, first of all - I'm lazy. And this is opinion from lazy person point of view:

I dont like gem swaping, I like to run all the stuff, auras etc. once and than just kill. So for me (as I like elemental status effects and burning helps with trash clear spead) it is: Discharge - Fire Pen - Controlled Dest and AOE nodes from passive tree.

But you guys can (and should) experiment, do some dps testing and stuff I'll be happy to read about results :)
