Current Development Priorities

"Some Standard and Hardcore players (i.e. not those in the Perandus leagues) have a lot of characters that they want to Ascend. Running 18 Trials and 3 Labyrinths is a lot of work when you have several high-level characters from each previous challenge league. We will be running a process tomorrow that will grant some Ascendancy points to existing Standard/Hardcore characters. Characters in Cruel will receive two points and characters in Merciless will receive four points. You still need to run a Labyrinth to actually choose an Ascendancy class. This means that if you run the Merciless Labyrinth, it'll be equivalent to running all three (due to the bonus four points). Note that this is a one-time process that we run, and only applies to existing permanent league characters."

I just finished the Merciless Labyrinth run for my SC character and she only gets 2 pts.
i really love the expansion chris, its an amazing job.

I love the league, I think theres a bit too many uniques going around, gone a little ham maybe on the item handouts. Imo Id sooner see currency proliferated than items to this extent early in a league tbh, think thats healthier, but at any rate its excessive. Not the end of the world for a single league, but I love the league despite myself and many in my guild feeling like u went a bit full pizza on the unique availability, not because of it so much. We generally love the coins and the idea of it all though, everyones having fun.

The mechanic and the mobs are great, I like how aggressive the perandus packs are, thats my favorite thing about the league, the chaos that occurs when you find a box. Mainly its the ascendancy stuff, thats the big hype. I know you guys never sit still but in terms of build content theres enough here to keep me going for the rest of the year trying out builds and leveling them up. Zana is back and better than ever, I feel like the game is there to be played now if I want to and theres every reason to want to.
Many assets fail to load while entering zones and game crashes.
Game uses too much ram.
Massive lag and fps drops.
Your game is now unenjoyable.
Fix it.

Nah I'm with you.

I'm an invalid (munted lower back) and most days simply can't play for 45 mins or so without getting up and walking a bit - especially if it's hard content and I'm moving about involunatilly a lot in my chair as I fight monsters.

I've been happy with PoE so have 'invested' what is a lot of money for me into the game. Now I'm not sure I'll be able to unlock 'premium content' due to it requring that I do long stints non-stop to get it. It's something that's never been a part of this game before.

Got excited that you would spare people with old characters the mess of doing labyrinth 3 times on each char.

Waited until today to do some and just as I finished I only got two.

I guess I gotta learn not to exspect GGG to hold their promises...
