Petition to remove the traps

No. Downvoted and awful suggestion.

They should solve the problems certain builds have with traps (hybrids, low life etc). But that's it.

Get over it, some people dislikes fighting Malachai yet you have to do it to progress, if you want to get your OPTIONAL OP ascendency the run the lab.

I don't think traps are that bad. They are annoying, because they should be annoying. Main issue here is in my opinion no point of getting behind them. Worthy reward isn't there.
Week + few days farming lab for enhancement on helmet (ea) and still not find even 1 ea enhance... traps slow runs, but main problem is rng enhancement where you get total bad thing you dont needed and forced by game to repeat there runs billion times - just time wasting machine.

I don't think dropping traps is likely for internal political / morale reasons within GGG and I can empathize with why they're unlikely to follow that path.

I'd still love to see traps disappear from the game, though.
Now that prestige classes will finally leave lab in 4.0, will GGG get it right this time or will they find new ways to repeat old mistakes?

I'd rather not see the traps go, but I'd definitely like to a lot of changes made to how they work. At the very least, the damage needs to be reduced by at least two thirds until they can come up with a better solution. That being said, I'd rather not have them at all then have them not be changed.
as much as i wanted to like them, i would rather traps be removed. not really fun to wait/go/wait/go to tediously dodge traps. also if they aren't removed they really should be nerfed.

Traps at least do damage which is more then you can say for most of the enemies in lab. I can see how CI and LL builds would have issues with how the damage is dealt. The traps could do with some kind of tweaking but to remove them would just take any fun out of labs altogether.

If the traps in Lab disappeared tomorrow POE would be a more enjoyable game to a lot of players.

Traps aren't fun. It's that simple.

I believe traps won't get removed from the game because of the effort put into making them. But, ...
