The labyrinth is both boring and frustrating

Ummm they already have a thing called instances, why are they not using them in the labyrinth?
If you DC in a map and you have portals open you can get back into your map...

The labyrinth is one big instance. If you die, DC or leave, the instance gets automatically deleted.

That's not how it is in the rest of the game, though. You can die and then re-enter the instance if you do it within the time frame. They could do that here, with portals.

4, Navigating the traps with PoE's control scheme just feels awful. I mostly just ran through stuff and chugged pots because it's so awkward trying to figure hitboxes and how to dodge a trap when your controlling the character more or less one click at a time. The controls just do not work for this kind of content.
I agree with this so much. Lots of valid points in the rest of OP too.

(died 2 times on normal labyrinthe at lvl 52 (19 lvl above area lvl!). Last attempt I got a crash on out of memory. enough for today)

When two witches watch two watches, which witch watches which watch?
If the witches watching watches watch the same watch while you watch which witch watches which watch, they switch watches; then, the watch switching witches watch which watch you watch.
Watching witches watch watches is not for the faint of heart...
I gotta post a dissenting opinion. I love the Labyrinth, and I love the traps. I can easily understand people hating it when their Internet connection is bad, but, I dunno, I get lag spikes reasonably often and it doesn't ruin it for me.

I guess the thing that I like about it is that it's not a test of mindless speed. You don't just run straight through one-shotting everything instantly, and that's the thing bumming me out the most about PoE's current meta. Instead you have to constantly watch your step so you don't step on a pressure plate (the dart traps and door traps I'm not as fond of, tbh). The Izaro fight is also a way better fight, mechanically speaking, than the Malachai fight. It's like what the Daresso fight should have been. All of Izaro's attacks have wind-ups, so it's just a matter of keeping track of Izaro while you're killing his adds and tapping the pillars and dodging traps. I could go on, I love every part of the Labyrinth.

The one thing that I agree with people being unhappy about, is DC's. It hasn't happened to me, but if it did, and if I didn't like running the lab, well, I'd be pretty pissed off! Some people suggested allowing ports to be dropped before Izaro fights, and that seems pretty reasonable to me. Then, if you're prone to DC's, you can drop a port before every time you fight Izaro. At least that's better than nothing. But overall, the Lab just hits the spot for me.

i actually had alot of fun, i think the main issue is that labyrinths arent rewarding outside of the ascendancy points.

most of the time you will get 1 or 2 keys to open 1 or 2 chests at the end of the fight
most of the time the enchant will be nearly worthless too you
most of the time you will use a silver key and the result will be a forgettable loot chest (well some are ok but not map level loot )
most of the time the puzzles reward you with an equally boring loot chest.

And that is the issue. it can take 30 minutes to over and hour to complete a laby run. for even slow builds that is 4 - 6 maps. and for fast build 10 - 15 - 20 maps. the difference in reward between running a labby and just mindlessly grinding maps is astronomical .

thank god the perandus content is both challenging and approachable (perandus rocks)
POE is fucking arpg.I want kill mosters and pick up loot, not solve puzzles and dodge some retarted traps, there are other games for that.

play maps then

if you want ascendancy points i bet you can force yourself to complete the lab 3 times (if you know what you are doing you can do that in < 10 minutes on ANY - i repeat - ANY build as it is mostly build independent)

but i bet youll buy good enchants for HEAVY cash from people that do enjoy the lab. enchants are pretty damn sick if you hit a good one. and you can hit a good one only farming lab efficiently.

your choice - you learn what to do and get it or not (but then prepare exalts for good enchants - as i wont be selling mine cheap if it is 'so difficult' to do it)
+1 I play on an old computer with a shitty internet connection. After trying the labyrinth on norm difficulty for xx times and dying every time to some fucking spikes I feel like have I have to give up. I was really looking forward to this but I am so disappointed.
Would my suggestion be a good way out for everybody?

Oh look, the server crashed again.
lab area looks has some pattern. Trap can be practice, Izaro can be defeated with long fight. but i'm tired with lab already. into bugged map few times sever crashed also is. one character dead with nonsense lag.
POE had closed beta last year and this time alpha both awful started for me. i have no idea GGG took feedbacks from where. maybe from high-experience streamer who keep using weeds? "give to mobs more damage more difficult then ill on ladder non-sleep"

i played so much diablo1 and Fushigi no Dungeon 2 - Fuurai no Shiren(a SNES Rogue-like RPG). deeply dungeon killing moster bring back loot to home. so for me, Perandus is the best league by the way.
