[2.4] FoxTactic's LVL100 Crunchy Frost Ninja Frostblades\wildstrike

Thanks a lot to both of you. My gear is kinda crappy atm, and i should have chosed the last dmg nodes before going for charges + gems.

Probably in the next few lvls i'll gain a lot of dmg, and upgrade my epquiment with the currency i'll get in the meanwhile. That should fix the problem :)
@Foxtactics the manner in which you scale damage through high attack speed ele weapons with crit makes sense and would explain your high dps BUT it's the use of Wildstrike for single target that confuses me. Admittedly WS has a good base dmg multiplier, but given its secondary effects (aoe fire, chain lightning and cold projectile) DO NOT hit the initial target doesn't WS just become a glorified basic attack?

I read your guide thoroughly and this is about the only reference you make as to why you might use Wildstrike. If there are adds to contend with then chain lightning can bounce back to the initial target but the other two elements can't. Fx. in the Academy boss fight you focus the Arbiter of Knowledge, which given the amount of damage you do anyway is clearly the right choice, but you are still effectively losing out on 2/3 of Wildstrike's core function and if it were a boss with higher health pool/no adds you'd lose everything (as per my previous "glorified basic attack" comment).

As far as I've always understood it the only way to gain maximum potential out of Wildstrike is to NOT focus the primary target, using the pseudo splash dmg elements proc'd off weaker targets instead, but that's also a terrible idea and the main reason I've struggled with Wildstrike. Other than that Wildstrike IS a strong pack clearing skill, although not as strong as Frostblades.

idk, mabye there is something else going I'm missing out on - I'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter.

also, one other thing: you recommend

% increased Melee Damage
jewel for Wildstrike. I'm fairly confident that will only affect the initial hit because of the exclusive "melee" tag modifier. Wildstrike's secondary effects only benefit from melee modifiers that specify a melee weapon type.

What ascendancy points would you get if you went into Raider?

I think this are the best raider passives.

Take the Rapid assault first, it will give you the biggest increase for mid game.
The way of the poacher is not enough to sustain you frenzy charges in the beginning. You need a few frenzy charge duration nodes and a fast clear speed. Mine last for 18 seconds with 4 increased duration nodes (2 form the raider tree and 2 form the Passive Skill Tree).
I doing that build in Parendus HC and i am doing very well, my weapons are pretty good for the lvl and it my alt, so i had currency and good gear to equip him. BUT i was wondering why do you equip stuff with Armor instead of going full Evasion since you are taking acrobatics that reduce the armor by 50%? When i am looking at your stats, a 2000 armor worth nothing in HC, you will get one shot by high crit anyway, so why not taking more evasion?
Frankly I am a little concerned with the lack of life. You have 165% increased life at 120 points. I realize its not a typical melee build, but I got more life on my ranger bow character and i still got a hard time in high lvl maps.
Updated the current gear spoiler, i have put this character on hold for a bit while i build the , https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1620710, Lightning warp prolife.

Wildstrike is great if you have run out of frenzy charge and want to kill a boss,
The function of it is more practical and isnt complicated, if you try and dual strike a boss with mobs around you will start attacking them and thus loosing tons of dps if you just wanna get it over quick, also it will take you longer to get frenzy charges off the adds, and having a good single target up for the boss if your dps isnt gucci yet, necropolis boss can be a good example of this. With wildstrike you can kill the pack first quickly for frenzy then leap the boss, or you go straight for the boss and start hitting, but with way less dps. Wildstrike has a massive base damage %, and another 20% ele on the quality, and its AoE, Arcing, Pulse with this base damage make it great when there is more than 1 target. Dual strike for lab and atziri.

Anyway ive uppdated the gear im using on the lvl93 templar, he needs another 10% res or so, and that essence worm gotta go soon :D, way to dps horny, he has around 220k+ frostblades atm with flasks and totem up, no vaal haste yet =\.

Yeah its a bit low life atm, its because i went on way to much dps, but if you look at the tree you can see you got a lot of life take and can easily drop some dps. and i dont got life on any of my jewels i think. on my 93 templar i got 5.3k and he only has 4 nodes in the scion life wheel and no life on jewels yet. He can easily push close to 7k with the right stuff.

I can not look to passive tree atm.Anyone have the same problem?
Foxtactic, what's your take on Evasion vs Armor for this build?
How would inquisitor compare vs Deadeye with ricochet node?
