Jonathan straight out being dishonest in his post is a major change. Didn't know he had done so before.

He pretends as if it is a major issue that people are forced to leave their login credentials to 3rd party sites and that he now has a solution for it. Lol.

dishonest? his post seems starkly HONEST to me.

He knows that this "solution" for the grand majority of the playerbase doesn't solve the problem of being forced to give login credentials, yet he pretends as if it does solve that major issue.

That's dishonesty. I hold GGG in very high regards, and that's a new low from GGG.


The premium feature is fine and even great since GGG should find ways to monetize their game, but it would be good if they could skip the dishonesty.

Very good improvement you are making to trade, in my oppinion a step in the right direction.

As we were thinking about this exactly idea i was arguing that it would be totaly okay for me if this feature was for premium tabs only.
But I have changed my mind on that, I have a bounch of standard stash tabs and never saw any real reason why I should buy the premium tabs since I am perfectly okay with not being able to edit the name and colour. But now that it is more than just a nice looking feature which helps you to organize your items I might have to reconsider my previous decissions...

If I would have known that this improvement was coming I would have been buying only premium stash tabs for sure.

Funny thing is, as we spoke about that idea a week ago I was going to buy some extra stash anywasy so keeping in mind that there is a posebillity that this feature was for premium stash obly I went and bought premium stash instad of standard ones.....

You see that this has a huge impact and everyone who bought standard stash now has a big disadvantage even if he spend money on the game.

Also this has a bad impact on the game being known as a very friendy free to play game, although I disagree that this makes it pay to win, I still think that a fundamental part of the game like trading should be easy accesable for free players aswell.

To make this story short here are three possible solutions to solve this problem.

1. Give people the option to upgrade their stash at a discounted price, so that the ratio fits to the price you would have to pay extra on discounted premium stash bundles instead of discounted normal stash bundles.

2. Give Standard Stash the option to at least list a stashwide buyout price, but not the option to price every item for itself. This should maybe limited to work only if you have bought extra standard stash or at least be limited to a minimum character level of maybe level 40 - 60 chars in order to prevent an overflow of listings by new accounts which potentially may be bots.

3. Implement an account locked quest which gives at least one premium stash as a reward. This is ofc the weakest of those solutions aswell for GGG and for the players.

GGG should just give every account one Premium Stash Tab. This way, everyone can take part. Furthermore, one Premium Tab could be good advertising for those people that may not even be aware a Premium Tab is an option. When POE attracts a new player and all the stash tabs look the same, there is nothing to incentivize the player to ask why is this tab different.

I love this change and can't wait to see what is announced in the other waves of info. Thanks GGG.

It would be a nice gesture to give everyone 1 premium tab.

If you have 14 years old and your mama doesn't allow you to spend money in games, stop to be butthurt about who have a job and like and doesnt care in buy 50 stash tabs if needed and I also like to support developers. They working for our fun. Now get a job plz :D

I am so happy about this, I never liked the idea of having to use third party tool but being able to easily sell your items is so important. Fantastic news!

I think this is as close to an Auction House as you can get.

Just being able to have basically real-time on people being online/offline is amazing enough.


Any word on being able to update/change item filter in-game?

Amazing improvement, helps me a lot. Just a little disappointing that there is another feature that is tip toeing that p2w line except that this feature is one that is even more part of the core of the game. Its almost like saying, we made lockstep, but you can only use our new and improved predictive mode unless you pay 10$ for lockstep. they literally made a in game trade system but are only offering improved 3rd party tools to everyone who doesnt buy premium tabs.
