First Wave of Trade Improvements

Good improvement!!! Much better than I expected!!!

I never buy a normal extra tab, all extra stash tab I bought is premium (when premium bundle sal off, of course, and this sale is the most regular one), I even upgraded 4 default tabs to premium.I think it help me a lot in managing my item, with color and name on tab. I dont understand some people complain about the cost of premium tab, while they have a bunch of supporter titles, what did they spend all the points???
It is as though a thousand mouths cry out in pain!!!
let me get this straight... so no more need for acquisition? poe.trade will scrap all the data from the new APIs?
Any premium stash tab can now be set to public. "ok"

[Removed by Support] GGG's gone straight p2w. NOTHING HAS CHANGED you can still list your shit same as before. [Removed by Support]

Jonathan straight out being dishonest in his post is a major change. Didn't know he had done so before.

He pretends as if it is a major issue that people are forced to leave their login credentials to 3rd party sites and that he now has a solution for it. Lol.

Calling this Pay-2-Win is a bit of a stretch. I don't see how these changes make people with premium stash tabs "win" any better than those without. Now if they allowed people to buy gear with real money, or levels, or maps that would be Pay-2-Win.

While that is true, it still means that people who buy premium stash tabs get a pretty significant advantage over people who choose to save money in order to have more or even just some stash tabs and just deal with memorizing what is in what number tab. Not to mention EVERY PERSON WHO HAS NOT BOUGHT STASH TABS OR CANT BUY THEM. Those people will still have to use 3rd party programs or pay to upgrade their tabs. So for those people you are basically saying, pay us money or continue using the work around method made by community members and input your account information into their programs. Personally i think having premium stash tabs only give the color/naming advantage is enough to justify paying more for them. being forced to pay more to use the trade system leans even closer to pay 2 win than stash tabs already did. To play devil's advocate GGG should be albe to make money for spending the resources to implement trade improvements. However, i wish it was more in line with the spirit of GGG to give it out to everyone and allow players to choose if they want to support GGG for doing such. If GGG will withhold basic features from free to play players today, what will they do tomorrow? will full respecs make it into the mtx store? will expansions start to cost money? I dont like the direction of this decision by GGG.

Looks like you dont understand what free 2 play means.

no i just clearly misinterpreted what it meant to GGG.
Hey this is a signature! pretty cool stuff...yeah...

Second pay2win feature in this game.

Agree, with release of divination cards and jewels no one can't play with 4 tabs anymore.
So how does a shopper find these tabs?

Should be a single tab at most. Most players would unlikely sell more than what that one tab could contain. Let them use it for trade or as something else with the rest of the normal tabs to see a difference. Additionally, the tab should come around the time new accounts can actually trade. Perhaps a simple challenge completion of finishing the first two or so acts to be around that level 20 mark.

I agree, also think 4 premium tabs would be kinda overkill, as a starter kit. Imo I'd be perfectly fine if they were to give every account one premium tab, no strings attached. It would greatly increase the amount of people getting into trading, which in turn will result in a way more active game. Not many downsides imo.

Does it work with premium remove only tabs?

Yes

Hi Bex, were you informed of this decision?

I assume you weren't. Because as the competent community manager you are there should've been no way you didn't fight against this "trade improvement".

This announcement was poor and absolutely goes against everything GGG has done in the past.

The team alienates two large groups of players:

1. Existing players who have only purchased normal stash tab bundles.

2. New players with little understanding of "third party" tools.

I thought trade improvements are supposed to make the game EASIER for players? And not just the players who somehow could predict the future and purchased premium stash tabs before this godawful announcement?

And what exactly does GGG stand to gain from a PR or long term revenue perspective? This announcement upsets both your loyal customers AND make it more difficult for new players to get into the game. I'm certain many existing players would much rather this gated feature did not exist.

Throughout disappointment with this markedly stupid decision. I don't think I'm going to buy more things from GGG until this decision is looked at.

I have no comment on this change but do your research before trying to put the blame on someone who had nothing to do with it. It is not a CM's place to argue directly with balance changes or 'upgrades' to the system. The CM acts as a liaison between the company and the community. His or her task inasmuch as balance is concerned is to convey information back and forth.

So watch where you're aiming that warm gun of yours.
